123123123 is back to host an exciting new hour of the Price is Right!!!
Personally, my favorite show to put together and host so far has to be my throwback episode, so we're running it back. We're gonna have some retired games, old-school prizes and surprises galore!
In case anyone forgot the rules,
*Sign-ups will last for 72 hours (so it will start 6/13 around 5pm)
*Contestants will get a PM from me when they are called down or up on stage
*You will have 24 hours to submit your response
*The audience is allowed, even expected to help
*Above all else, have fun!
* Finally, for a spot in the First Four and to stick with the show's theme a bit, tell me what hits you with a huge wave of nostalgia. It doesn't necessarily have to be TPiR related. It can be a song, movie, event, anything! But make sure it's in 13 words or less. Be creative, but remember I'm counting. :-)

And while none of those options sound all that expensive by themselves, I'm fairly confident that with that many of them loaded on this thing, it's gonna cause this to be high 20s or (unlikely but still maybe possible if the options are expensive enough) even over 30k. That's just my two cents though.

So here's my strategy suggestion:

*Phone Home Game is pretty hard to predict what prices will be given so I tried to place the big money in an easy product (cat litter), a medium product (Pop Tarts), and a tricky one (paint). The playing was just bad luck
*Add 'em Up was the only game I tried to setup difficult because of how easy the game really is if you have any idea of the price. LiteBulb's advice was great, but it completely omitted the possibilitys with a 0 in the price. Thankfully the 0 didn't show up
*Balance Game was as forced a win as I think I could make it and it was still lost. I should've known better than to reveal both products, even if Plinkoman gave me two. Live and learn.
*Another show, another close overbid in the showcase.

Great show that was a lot of nostalgic fun! For a while I thought we were going to have to find the Mathnet (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mathnet) detectives to get on the case of "Why are people unable to respond in 24 hours?" but thankfully that subsided toward the end.

ACK! I'm so used to doing Cross Sums (a.k.a. Kakuros (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kakuro)) which follow the exact same concept as Add 'em Up, except that in Cross Sums/Kakuros 0's aren't allowed. So glad no 0's were in the price or I would've felt really silly.
