Hmmm...this one is a tricky call.  I'm going to propose something goofy here, but I think it is semi-fair.

1.  Cyclone wins the camera, and will play Pick a Number, eventually.
2.  Let RC, 88 and Athletic bid on the computer.  The winner of that will ALSO play Pick a Number.
3.  Both Cyclone and this other winner will both submit their guess for Pick a NUmber.  Maybe they will both win, maybe they will both lose, maybe one will win and one will lose.
4.  You will have 4 players in your Showcase Showdown.

Now, don't do that again, please.  Thanks

I got an idea. If either of them win Pick a Number, that person goes to the Showcase. If both of them win or lose, we will have a showcase showdown spinoff.

I already sent that very suggestion to sideshow in a PM.  After all, if I had been outbid by AthleticsFan, I was a goner NEway and he was guaranteed the showcase.

I did the math and my IUFB, sticking with the original, is more than the one in IUFB#2.  Therefore, one of us has to go to the showcase.  Since AthleticsFan is the only other person who could have won, keep it between us.

I'll take it a step further and say forget the extra IUFB and don't count it.  Just let us both play the game.  I did not suggest this in the PM because I just thought of it.  If we both win, we have an interesting scenario.  If we both lose, we have an interesting scenario.  If one of us wins, we're right back on track.

NOTE: If we do have that "interesting scenario", then in keeping in theme with the SCSD not being normal in the nighttime version, we should just have a one spin each spinoff and the winner immediately goes up to the podium, and the first showcase begins immediately (no break).  This is just a small add-in to the script (or it could even be done off-camera so to speak and the show returns with the survivor in the showcase).  We can deal with this if we both win or both lose.

sideshow?  Your thoughts on this, please.

This is simple, right?

The GRVOfLightning is already in the showcase by winning Poker Game
OneBidTris can't be in the showcase, because his IUFB won't be enough winnings to get him into the showcase (I'm assuming)

So, we have two players who will both play Pick a Number:
If they both win, or both lose, have them do a Showcase Showdown for the spot
If either of them wins PAN, and the other doesn't, they go to the Showcase.  But, to be fair, I would have them PM your PAN guesses.

Now back to the show.

Cornelius: The actual retail price is: $1299. Come on up here, Athleticsfan! Now both Cyclone and Athleticsfan, this is the scenario that we are in. We'll playing Pick A Number. Both of you will give me a number to complete the price of the hot tub. The price is $7,_52. What is the mississing number?  Is it 6, 7, or 0? Pick the right number, and you win that hot tub. What's your choice?

If one of you is right, you will advance to the Showcases, but if both of you are right/wrong, we will go immediately to a Showcase Showdown Spinoff. (PM me your guess)

If either of them wins PAN, and the other doesn't, they go to the Showcase.  But, to be fair, I would have them PM your PAN guesses.

Haha, only reason to copy someone other than being right is if you want to guarantee a showdown.  I prefer just being right. ;)  But I will PM a guess.

Actually, he wanted that sent via a PM, but as I already sent my pick (that was a 0 for anyone interested) yesterday and this is a one-off situation, we'll ignore the fact it wasn't sent via PM.  cornelius, results please? :)

It is Showcase time on The Price is Right, and it should come as no surprise that the top winner in the showcase is TheGRVOfLightning. And the runner up is Cyclone. Now each of you will have a showcase to bid on. And which ever one of you gets closest to actual retail price of your showcase without going over, you'll win it. However, if you're the winner, and you're $250 or less away from the price of your own showcase, we will give you BOTH showcases! Now TheGRVOfLightning, since you are the top winner, you can either bid on this showcase, or pass it to Cyclone and wait for showcase no. 2. Now, we want to see Showcase No. 1.

Jalin: This showcase starts with a sofa!

Jalin: From Williams Sonoma, the sweeping curves and lush, button-tufted padding of classic Chesterfield styling lend this sofa dramatic style and irresistible comfort. Exposed, turned legs keep the look light and elegant. And we have a new stove!

Jalin: From La Cornue, Providing professional-level performance in a space-saving design, the Albertine boasts five powerful gas burners and an electric convection oven with seven functions, including convection and conventional baking/roasting options as well as broiling and defrosting. Proportioned for use with standard 24" deep base cabinets, the 35 1/2" stove can be adjusted in height. And we also have a new rug!

Jalin: Hand knotted in pure wool, our rug re-creates the timeless look and plush feel of a floral carpet of ancient Turkey. Pre-washing softens the golden border tones, green background and rust highlights to a textured, faded finish. And finally, we have a new kitchen island!

Jalin: Inspired by a French chateau kitchen, hand crafted using traditional tongue and groove and dove-tail joinery, a riveted brass band frames the granite top, while a slide-out side table nearly doubles the workspace. And this showcase can be yours if the price is right.

Cornelius: TheGRVOfLightning, do you wish to bid on this showcase, or pass it to Cyclone?
