I was on this episode and see myself briefly at the beginning of the clip on the left. Can anyone tell me the episode number or a link to the entire episode. I have been trying for hours to find it. In my newspaper clip I have it aired in Charlotte, NC on November 19, 2986. Thanks in advance!!! Elaine Mauldin

That would be show #6273D, possibly best known as the last regular appearance of Now....and Then before it changed to Now....or Then two weeks later.

Thank you Guywithface for the info. Looked up that episode and it is not the one.

As the saying goes: "They don't make them (Showcase skits) like they used to anymore."

Hm. It may have been the previous episode (#6272D), aired a day late, but that is the only thing which comes to mind.

Larry C. since you are the one that posted the mini video - do you have the entire video of that episode?

Elaine,
I'm certain someone here will be able to help since the show did re-air on GSN. Could you tell us what game you played?

I wish I did, Elaine! But I saved just that part of it when it ran on GSN (circa 1997). I was collecting memorable showcase skits and that was one of them.

John - The item I bid on from the floor was a black laminate dinette set. When I got on stage I played squeeze play and won a trip to Monte Carlo. In the showcase the lady name Patricia passed the first set of prizes to me. The prizes were a jukebox, pinball machine, carousel horse and dune buggy.
Thanks!
Elaine

It probably is 6272D, then -- the newspaper may simply have the date wrong by one day. The games played on that show, in no particular order, were Super Ball!!, Dice Game, Poker Game, Squeeze Play, Grand Game, and Money Game. Does any of that ring a bell?
