The TALK Is Right / Re: What was their thinking?....

The tacky props thing made me think it would be a fun thing to do for a Christmas week episode- the "ugly sweaters" of The Price is Right. They would just have to be willing to remake or recolor the game set pieces for a day. Or just use a video monitor to show a playing with the original ugly set before playing the game on the current set.

That would make for one interesting show.  Not sure the producers, especially the designer(s) of the original "ugly" props, would wanna openly call the stuff they worked hard on ugly though.

Golden Road's old prop
Double Digits
The original Danger Price set
The mid 70s-early 80s Most Expensive set
Pink Temptation
On the Spot

The first two card game tables? Nice red and green theme for Christmas!

As part of hosting CSS, I record the rough theme of every showcase. (Started by Guint)

May 19th of this year, SC1, I have "SLICED BREAD".

A terrible Bag lineup followed by that reuse... good job, good effort.

CSS -- Chatroom Showcase Showoff / CSS Results for 12/12/2017 (Game 52)

A full day of CSS without anything in the notes column. The slog of December continues... today's FRATs was much more reasonably priced than the last one, and is taken home by PGS. I take the carcase (yikes, that sofa!) as well as the best raw.

Surprising to see Shell Game set up as tough as it was today. The IcyHot likely should have been won but the Microtouch was the only obvious SP.

Very easy It's in the Bag though. The last product was the only one that was a bit difficult to pick, although the almonds looked less expensive than $5.69.

Many happy returns Mr. Barker.  I am honored to be, along with Wink Martindale, a fellow Sagittarius like you.

Amusing thing, today at work during a meeting, one of my manager's husband came up with their dog!  Interesting coincidence.

I liked the specials they did last year with fans of Survivor, Big Brother and The Amazing Race playing along with the respective series' alumni and the hosts participating in the fun as well
