There are more that taped and are supposed to air on Fridays starting on 10/13 until November, however I'm going to guess those will be announced in the near-future.
-
The Mother-In-Law special will air 10/20. The Grandparents special will air 10/27.
-
That should leave Girls Night Out (which taped today) to air on 10/13 in that case.
-
If the 2023-2024 scripted season being mostly unsalvageable if a deal isn't reached by the first of October thing is accurate, I figure there'll be a lot more Nighttime Price is Right announcements coming down the pike in the coming future.
Anyway, looking forward to that Grandparents one, myself. That's what got me into TPIR and game shows as a whole... a Great Grandmother babysitter and her watching CBS's morning gameshow lineup.
-
I went to on-camera-audiences and I saw TPIR @ N is taping 4 Christmas themed episodes.
Families, Office Party, College Christmas, and Singles are the episodes they are taping.
-
I just checked my DirectTV guide and Monday night is a repeat of the Superfans episode back in January in case anyone missed it the first time or wants to view it again.
-
On another note, Friday's show is unknown via guide (it's likely Girls Night Out). 10/27's show also moved to 10/23 (likely for World Series reasons).

Sad there's no Big Brother themed show. X(
-
There was a commercial during tonight's (10/13) show mentioning to watch the Loteria Loca on Monday FOLLOWING Price is Right, so perhaps an episode we didn't know of (since that would be 10/16)?
-
The show on the 16th is the rerun of the Superfans show.
-
The show on the 16th is the rerun of the Superfans show.
OK, it didn't say that it was new, but then again didn't say it wasn't either ;) And, they repeated said commercial during the Raid the Cage episode as well.
-
Not that the Superfans episode isn't worth rerunning yet again, but it'll be a bit jarring seeing the pod setup and Studio 33 again now that we're established in Haven...
-
I can't find TPIR at Night on Paramount. Anyone able to find it?
-
from my understanding, they lump it with the daytime shows on there
-
The airdate chart as it stands now:
Mon. 10/2: Survivor
Mon. 10/9: Amazing Race
Fri. 10/13: Girls Night Out
Mon. 10/16: Superfans (R)
Fri. 10/20: Mother-In-Law
Mon. 10/23: Grandparents
Fri. 10/27: Date Night (R)
Mon. 11/6: Redemption (R)
Shows from Studio 33 are in italics. Grandparents was originally scheduled for 10/27 and was moved up to the 23rd. With them airing two TPiR@Ns a week, we'll be out of fresh specials before the end of the month, even with the rerun of Superfans.
-
They are taping Superfans Junior this month, not sure if they will air that later this year.
As for the other ones, there are 5 other primetime Holiday Specials taping, they will probably air during the week of Dec. 18-22.
-
So with these 5 holiday specials that week leading up to Christmas we might end up with 10 Christmas editions of the show counting that weeks daytime shows celebrating the holiday! That might be a first in the 52 year history of the show!
-

As for the other ones, there are 5 other primetime Holiday Specials taping, they will probably air during the week of Dec. 18-22.
Or they might just do them weekly like the current ones - there are 4 Fridays in December prior to 12/25 due to the way the calendar falls (1,8,15,22). Or a mix between Mon & Fri if they want to have 5 (your original post about it said 4 rather than 5).

I've got a feeling that Superfans Junior will air in January.

I can't find TPIR at Night on Paramount. Anyone able to find it?
They are just mixed in with the regular daytime episodes (in order of airdate.)
-
Just announced:
Mon. 12/4: Office Holiday Party
Tues. 12/5: College Students "Home for the Holidays"
Thurs. 12/7: Blind Holidate
Fri. 12/8: Holiday Heroes
Mon. 12/18: Holidays With The Family
All at 8pm, except 12/5, which is at 9pm.
-
Four Prime Time in a week? It's Crazy!
-
CBS has nothing else to air.
-
They’d be short of original content in a normal year over the holiday period. Only exacerbated this year. They’re fortunate that they have some utility players to plug the gaps.
-
Yep.
If Game and Reality shows hadn't been on a separate contract, the networks would've been good and screwed this year.
As is, the longer the SAG strike goes, the closer it comes to there being no 23/24 season at all and shows like TPIR and LMAD becoming solid primetime fixtures for a while.
-
I like it. I might not watch the content as it airs all the time, it 's great for the network. I guess growing up with a daytime & nighttime version of the same show airing around the same time, it brings a rather decent smile to the face.
To be honest, I'd prefer LMAD & TPIR at Night in the summer over Big Brother.
I do wonder how they'd do if it was a regular. No theme, but just the daytime show airing in primetime. That being said, at least most of the themes have been great thus far

They are also starting to broadcast all of their original Paramount Plus programming as well.
-
8 more primetime shows are taping this November. I don't see any info yet on the themes.

The use of a sneak peak of Fraiser was interesting, if only to see that series on CBS after it was so associated with NBC back in the day. Totally get the ownership, it's just amusing to see if pop up somewhere different.
Also of interest is the pending launch of the UK original of Ghosts. A creative way to plug some time.
-
I've been wondering how Ghosts UK will go. Will they butcher the 28 minute episodes to get them down to the 20 minutes that CBS allows for actual show content in a half hour timeslot, or run them in 45 minute slots?

Or run 3 episodes back-to-back and fill a 2-hour block (since that would be 84 minutes, equal to 21 per 1/2 hour). Not quite at 20, but not much off either :)
-
The TPIRAN episode scheduled for November 6th at 8 PM EST has been pulled from the schedule following the apparent cancellation of the low-rated 'Loteria Loca" and the decision to run "NCIS" repeats on the entire night's schedule.
https://deadline.com/2023/10/loteria-loca-pulled-cbs-ncis-repeats-ncis-sydney-premiere-1235589210/
-
It's a shame that Lotería Loca was pulled. It was a fun show that hadn't quite found its stable footing. It's a better concept than Raid the Cage. I haven't brought myself to actually watch an episode of that yet.
-
Deadline does mention its uncertain what will happen to that Price is Right at Night episode (it was a rerun anyways). It is slated to still return on December 4th with a new episode.
They are rerunning the Service Workers episode on December 1st (Friday) at 8/7c.

Yeah, I found that out right after I posted.
-
On another note, OCA has a primetime taping listed for January 3rd.
-
On Camera Audiences shows that 2 primetime specials will tape next Thursday, Friday, the 27th and 28th all at 8:00 & 12:00.
-
There is also 2 for January 3rd. Seems like we're gonna have a busy winter season for game shows on CBS.

These could be for the Grammys and the Super Bowl, both to be broadcast on CBS in February. Now that the SAG-AFTRA strike is over, this could be it as next spring should be back to normal primetime programming.

Not that they couldn't do primetime specials the Friday beforehand, but those would probably more than likely be daytime specials on those Fridays.

If past years CBS has covered the Super Bowl and Price has done a special are any indication, any Super Bowl special (daytime or primetime) would probably tape in late January during the two week period between Championship Sunday and the Super Bowl. This way references can be made to the teams competing.
-
A primetime show will air on January 3rd that taped today will have a theme of "Jackpot January" via Discord.
-
Next Primetime show:
dec 4
dec 5
dec 7
dec 8
dec 18
jan 3
it's right?
-
Seems pretty logical for where they’re likely to be looking for some schedule filler…or more schedule filler, since that’s been the name of the game since fall.
Presumably they’ll have some of the usual holiday type specials to plug in elsewhere, and some series repeats to round out the spackle job.

There's also another primetime show airing January 5th and either the 12th/17th with the same theme.
-
Some changes:
TPIR @ N's Christmas episodes were shuffled around. The 12/4 (Office Party) episode will air as normal, but there will now be no episode on 12/5 (Home for the Holidays), as that episode moves to 12/8. Blind Holidate will air as normal on 12/7. 12/18 (Families) is unaffected. 12/8 (Holiday Heroes) will air on 12/19.
-
So we've got Office Party on the 4th at 8, Blind Holidate on the 7th at 8, College Students Home For The Holidays on the 8th at 8, Home For The Holidays on the 18th at 8, Holiday Heroes on the 19th at 8, Jackpot January on the 3rd at 8, another Jackpot January on the 5th at 8, and a third Jackpot January on either the 12th or 17th at the same time.

1/3: New Primetime Show
1/10: New Primetime Show
1/17: New Primetime Show

These all could be the January Jackpot shows.
-
Currently 16 primetime show in this season!

A superbowl primetime show is taping on January 3rd. Will likely air on the week of Feb 5th-9th.
-
College Students Home For The Holidays has been pushed to Monday night due to a special tribute Norman Lear.

It's likely to air on that Wednesday or Friday due to the move to Thursday for the NFL Honors show. Used to be Saturday before Super Bowl Sunday

Oh my God!!!
-
February 14th will be the second year in a row where we have daytime and primetime Valentine's Day shows.
-
I will assume the February 7 show will be the Superbowl one.
-
I'm guessing that the College Students episode that was supposed to air on Friday evening will air on a later day on account of being replaced with the Norman Lear tribute

Oh, sorry about that. I bypassed that quote and didn't notice. But, in all fairness, I was gone for 3 days on account of graduating from the University of West Florida :-D
-
With the actors officially ratifying their contract I thin the end of TPIR at night is here. Besides the tapings in early January, the rest of the month has no primetime tapings listed.
Time to enjoy these while we have them and see everyone at night in 3 years for the next strike.
-
1/2/2024's episode has been crossed out on futoncritic. The rest are fine.
-
New TPIR At Night on February 21st at 8:00.
-
Today, Drew will be guest on The Talk, I think to promote TPiR at Night. What pricing game will they play?
The Talk - CBS at 2PM/1PM CT.
-
February 7th is confirmed to be the Super Bowl Special.

They already taped it on January 3rd.

What pricing game will they play?
They played (a very winnable) playing of Secret X. Won a trip to the Caribbeans.
-
Feb 2 show is new or rerun?
-
February 2nd is new. It's a Jackpot themed show like the others in January.

Jackpot show are amazing!
Another show aired feb 7 and feb 14?
-
Is Cliff Hangers going to be played for $250,000 on one of the upcoming shows?
-
Via TVLine (https://tvline.com/news/travis-kelce-the-price-is-right-jason-donna-super-bowl-episode-1235141333/), CBS has a sneak peek of the Ultimate Super Bowl Party primetime special with a cameo from Donna Kelce and her sons (you know who's boyfriend and Jason) introducing her.
-

Yes, February 7 is the Super Bowl themed show and then there are also new episodes the 14th and 21st.
-
Another episode airs March 18th via futoncritic. LMAD airdates also show a LMAD Primetime episode that day too.

he's talking about NIGHTTIME shows, not the daytime ones (plus those daytime ones are probably reruns because of March Madness)
-
There isn't any nighttime shows listed in my guide for the next 14 days.
Also it says new daytime shows all this week, but logically would only be Mon-Wed.
-
My guide is also no longer showing an At Night episode tomorrow, it has a rerun of The Neighborhood and a new Bob Hearts Abishola now. Futon Critic also crossed it out on their listing. I wonder why it's been postponed?
-
The preview video of the kid playing Plinko has been made private as well, I noticed.

Yeah, there is no new TPIR @ N or LMAD Primetime at all now.
On another note, there is a few TPIR @ N episodes planned for May according to someone who went to a taping over on reddit, which would line up with LMAD Airdates showing LMAD Primetime episodes in May.
-
Our CBS affiliate displays the primtime lineup on their afternoon news and today they showed Price at 8 PM. Yet Xfinity's on-screen schedule shows the two sitcoms. WANF's site schedule (using Titan TV) shows Price.
-
2 episodes of The Price is Right at Night are scheduled for 5/20 (Monday) and 5/23 (Thursday). Both are at 8PM Eastern.

5/20 (Monday) and 5/23 (Wednesday)
I'm not sure exactly what it is, but I'm quite certain there's a mistake in there. ;)

Thanks for noticing, my brain was thinking Wednesday for that day because I've been used to TPIR @ N on Wednesdays. I have fixed it.

There will be another LMaD episodes too?
-
The Price is Right at Night is coming back next season. It will air on Wednesday nights in between seasons of Survivor.

Completely unexpected but beyond excited for this!
-
I'm looking forward to another season of TPIRAN in the winter.
-
Completely unexpected but beyond excited for this!
I'm not surprised at the news. Given the success of the show, going back about a half-decade, and especially over the past couple of TV years, I expected it.
Not a guarantee prior to the official news, but TPIR at Night just felt perfect in-between the Survivor seasons. It helps address one's options (at least on CBS) on what to watch during the 2-month Wednesday night hiatus. It keeps improving year in and year out
