I think Patricia may be the single worst Time is Money player I’ve ever seen.

The worst is your opinion.  I have seen worse.  Mmy opinion is that she's the S-L-O-W-E-S-T player of this game.  She couldn't get the products up before the 10-second mark.

This has to be Price's "C'mon Man!" moment!

After some quick math, that trip in Showcase 1 was a little over $18,000! That's almost as much as the car!

Good show today , nice wins in Any Number and TTM.
In terms of setup , TiM probably had the most gimme setup in this version's history , with the only probable decision of where to put the tea and sponges.

So basically, if you don't get all the products placed in 10 seconds, it's a technical loss?! That's a new one on me (unless I'm reading it wrong).

I agree! Time is Money was practically set up begging to be won again, and Patricia had to go and screw things over royally! I also would've won Squeeze play outright. Regardless, it was awesome to see Any number won and, most of all, to see That's too much won for the first time this season!!!

Today's Time is Money = total WTF???

It's great to see That's Too Much get its first win of the season. And it's also funny that 7 ended up causing a win in Any Number (because it was the last remaining number for the car) and a loss in Squeeze Play (because it was not removed).

There isn't a whole lot I remember about this taping. I literally closed my eyes during Time is Money which turned out to be a good thing. The audience reaction was enough to tell me what was going on anyways.

That's true! 7 was lucky in Any number and not so lucky in Squeeze play. Talk about irony!

Perhaps they need to borrow a few of those (just about always) unused seconds from Hot Seat and give them to Time is Money?

While many have gotten all items placed, it does seem a bit short to have to carry all the items over (which some may not be as easily able to handle many items in one trip) and also think even a bit about where to put them.

I know the answer to questions like this is usually, "Because that's what somebody decided to do," but I wonder why they installed steel rims around the prices in Secret "X".

Time I$ Møney was just ugly.  I get that the first turn is hard, but I still have trouble fathoming how the people playing it can fail to realize it's hard.  That said, the second turn didn't go very well, either, and the setup really wasn't that difficult.

That's Too Much!, on the other hand, was fantastic.  Christine went against the audience on what is, not because of the way it's set up but by its very nature, one of the hardest games on the show, and she won because of it.  It was beautiful to watch.

So basically, if you don't get all the products placed in 10 seconds, it's a technical loss?! That's a new one on me (unless I'm reading it wrong).

Well, you can't win Time I$ Møney if you need the second turn, so if you're being picky about it, yes.

If in every other playing, the player was able to get all of the products on the stands in the initial 10 seconds, then the problem is not the time limit...

As has been said, Time is Money was a mess today. Pretty easy setup except for having three products in the over $6 section, but even that it was pretty clear that those three products belonged there.

Out of how many playing of the game has this occurred?  I’m willing to wager it’s very few.  If the vast majority of people can do a thing, and a few cannot for whatever reason, I still submit “doing the thing” is not the problem.

The February 6 show last season had a $9.72 piggy bank. Might be at least one higher than that, but if there is it can't be much higher.

I solely blame the contestants when they can't get all the prizes over in 10 seconds. Drew warns the contestant time and again not to look at the audience for help on this game, and the contestant doesn't listen to him.

Agree Patricia played the game horribly - what was she thinking spending 4 seconds asking her friends where that first item should go?

But 10 seconds really is not a lot of time unless the products were much closer to the main table.  What if you drop an item while you are carrying the item over?  What if you can't run that fast?, etc.  I think 15 seconds would be better and the contestant would still have to be pretty quick on their feet.  Doubt they would change it after this many years...
