Title: The Price Is Right: 123123123 style (Season 2 Premiere!) - Final
Post by: 123123123 on July 14, 2019, 12:42:57 PM
{opens studio doors and flips light switch}
{lights flicker, eventually turn on in all their glory}[/b]

Wow, it's almost like no one's paid the electric bill in here for 4 years  :-)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
123123123's TPiR is back for a whole new season and what better way to start it off than with a bit of a twist.
YOU, the contestants, are going to have a big say in how this half hour show goes.
Quite frankly, you're gonna have more power than any right-minded game show should be giving their contestants.  Lucky for you, this isn't a right-minded show.  :-D
We'll get into all that later, but first things first. In case you forgot, here are the rules for everyone:
*Sign-ups will last for 48 hours (so it will start 7/16 around 5pm)
*Contestants will get a PM from me when they are called down or up on stage
*You will have 24 hours to submit your response
*The audience is allowed, even expected to help (except during IUFBs)
*Above all else, have fun and relax
*Finally, to win a spot in the First Four, we've got a quick 30 second interview just like our parent source. Just tell me why I should pick you... in 12 words or less (not including the obligatory "I'm in"). Get creative, be mysterious, post all the gifs, crack some jokes, be cunning, use bullet points, find my number and text me, do what you've gotta do. Just make sure it's only 12 words, because I'm counting.
So everyone, sign on up and let's have some fun!
Removed unnecessary markup. Please use the default fonts, too many styles is hard to read.
Thank you all who signed up, the doors are closing and it's time to start the show. Good luck  :-)
*****************************************************************************
{theme starts as the camera looks over the crowd}
Announcer: TPIRfan#9821, come on down!!!
tpir04, come on down!!!
DarkShockBro, come on down!!!
and SuperSweeper, come on down!!!
You are the first four contestants on The Price is Right!!!!!
{loud applause}
And now, the host with more numbers than an abacus, 123123123!!!!
{door 2 opens and Numbers walks out}
{Manuela hands mic}
{loud applause}
1233: Hello all, I'm glad that you could all make it out here for the season premiere. I promise you won't be dissappointed.
You've all choose a great day to be here. As you probably heard waiting in line, today is going to be a a little different than your average show. That is because I have with me...
{searches left and right pockets to no avail}
{reaches into jacket pocket and emerges with two envelopes)
(https://i.imgur.com/7AHyU1n.png)
...two Crudely DrawnTM envelopes that we definitely didn't snag from Let's Make a Deal next door.  :-)
Today's show is a Pick Your Own Adventure style show!
I can tell you that each envelope contains an item associated with what game you might end up playing. Evenmore, each envelope comes with a small clue below to help you make a somewhat educated choice
Envelope 1: A Big Ol' Pile of Nothingness
Envelope 2: So You're Saying There's a Chance?
The clues could be related to the games or the prizes. They can also be a huge factor or a small detail. The choices are yours and yours alone.
Now, for the four of you in Contestants' Row right now, when you give me your bid on the IUFB that's coming up (trust me, it's coming), you will also give me an envelope choice (#1 or #2)
Don't worry about choosing the same envelope because
1.) there obviously aren't enough to go around (logic, duh  :lol:) and
2.) the contestant that wins the bid will follow the path they chose for themselves.
Everyone on board with the plan?
{somewhat assuring nods from the players}
I'll take what I can get.  :-)
Now with all of that out of the way, let's really get this show started with the first item up for bids.
{turntable turns}
Announcer: It's a glass door refrigerator {modeled by Amber}
(https://i.imgur.com/MG0iSyC.png)
Have you ever wanted that shady conveinence store feel in your kitchen? This display refrigerator has a 21" square base, stands 63 inches tall and gives you (and all your guests) a clear view of that nasty Chinese takeout from 3 weeks ago
{applause}
1233: As always, whoever is closest without going over get to come on up to play a pricing game. Now, SuperSweeper, please give me a bid and an envelope.
Bidding Order:
SuperSweeper ------------>
DarkShockBro ------------>
tpir04 --------------------->
TPIRfan#9821 ------------>
*the crowd can help with the envelope choices, but please not with the IUFB
{gives a slight glare at PayingTheRent, in the back corner  :-)}
The actual price of the fridge is...
(https://i.imgur.com/vk9mJSJ.png)
...meaning SuperSweeper has won their way up onto stage!
{applause from the crowd}
SuperSweeper, you are going to be the first contestant ever to pick their own path on this series, so be careful. Which envelope would you like?
{chooses #1}
Okay then, let's see what we got here
{SuperSweeper opens the envelope to reveal a folded piece of paper}
{unfolds it, gives an odd look, then hands it back to me}
(https://i.imgur.com/uSG3pzN.png)
I honestly don't know what I'm looking at.
A color blindness test?
A ransom note?
My 3rd grade math teacher's gradebook?
...
I could keep guessing, but Mr. Announcer, please just help us out.
Announcer: Dude, it's exactly what it looks like, a bunch of 0's printed on computer paper.
1233: Oh, ok. So...
Announcer: So, there's a bunch of 0s on that page, but SuperSweeper is only going to need 4 of them because...
{GPT slides up}
{music sting starts up}
...you're gonna have a chance to win $10,000 IN CASH, playing the Grand Game!!
(https://i.imgur.com/IlwRWl9.png)
1233: There we go, now we're getting somewhere. Now, like Mr. Announcer put so elegently, you're gonna have to earn those 0s
So let's push that back to $1 and show the target price for the day.
(https://i.imgur.com/MDS9bvU.png)
{ding}
{ding}
$5.55. As always, 4 of these products are less than $5.55. If you can pick those 4, I will gladly give you 10 grand.
{cheers from audience}
Now let's hear about the groceries in the game today.
(https://i.imgur.com/9Ov2EIP.png)
Announcer: First, we have an 8 oz tub of whipped topping
(https://i.imgur.com/hSxoEZS.png)
Next, we have a quart of cultured buttermilk
(https://i.imgur.com/i1GRquC.png)
We have 20.5 oz of this hard-to-keep-down cereal
(https://i.imgur.com/d5FIqdX.png)
A 12 oz can of this orange vanilla Coke beverage
(https://i.imgur.com/wqhx3zv.png)
A two pack of 20 oz foaming bathroom cleaner cans
(https://i.imgur.com/hJcoQ13.png)
And finally, a 5.6 oz can of wild salmon
There they are, Numbers
{applause from crowd}
1233: So now that you've had a chance to think it over, where would you like to start?
{crowd throws out suggestions}
If not, just the Coke. ;)
*If you're alright with giving me multiple guesses, I'm OK with revealing multiple prices.  :-)
Plus, I don't think seeing the previous prices should affect your choices later on in this game
**********************************************************************************
{chooses soda}
{almost unanimous cheers from crowd}
1233: That seems like a safe bet.
{flips card}
(https://i.imgur.com/hyQVj92.png)
{ding}
(https://i.imgur.com/npExvzS.png)
There's no way that was going to be more than $5. Where to next?
{chooses Cool Whip}
{more applause}
From a sponsorship point of view, it's whipped topping, not Cool Whip.  :-)
{flips tag}
(https://i.imgur.com/0cA8vqe.png)
{ding}
But as long as you're right, I don't care what you call it.
(https://i.imgur.com/XGkQ0QP.png)
Next stop, $1,000.
{chooses salmon}
{audience cheers}
Ok, well let's keep it rolling. Is the salmon less?
{flips tag}
(https://i.imgur.com/wsVpe47.png)
{buzz}
{stunned audience}
Wait, what? That's crazy. I knew salmon was expensive, but wow.
{flips down other tags}
(https://i.imgur.com/oxxdhbp.png)
You had to avoid that and the cleaning foam. I thought you had this in the bag,
I'm sorry things didn't work out better for you, SuperSweeper.
Before you leave, let me give you something.
{reaches into pocket, hands over 1 $100 bill out of the perfect bid $500}
Think of it as an advance on your winnings here ;-)
Hopefully, we can recover after this commercial break, and pray there are no perfect bids since we're all out of $100 bills
{camera pans over the whole audience, as the commercials start up}
**************************************************************
{after WAY too many sleep aid infomercials, we're back in the studio}
1233: Well, that was a tough way to start the show, but now we have nowhere to go but up.
Mr. Announcer, could you please bring us a new contestant to fill the red position.
Announcer: Why certainly, it's none other than...GameShowFan9001!!! You are the next contestant on The Price is Right!!
{cheers and applause}
1233: Now that you are all situated, let's first bring out the two Crudely DrawnTM boxes you will be able to choose from now to continue the show.
{rolled out by Manuela and Amber}
(https://i.imgur.com/dQHhxtJ.png)
The clues for these two are as follows:
Box #1: One for Now, One for Later
Box #2: Outdated Technology
Now, the next item up for bids please.
{GPT rises up}
Announcer: It's a brand new boxing package! {modeled by Rachel}
(https://i.imgur.com/A1NwWif.png)
Need an outlet for all that pent-up aggression? You can now use this mechanical boxing system to work on your jabs, hooks and...other jabs? We've also included boxing gloves and sneakers to get you looking and feeling the part.
Finally, the winner of this prize will also get a roll of Scotch tape. When you need to get even angrier, print off a picture of the most punchable face you know and tape it right onto the system.
{Rachel tapes a picture of Tom Cruise to the machine}
1233: I'm not gonna even ask why Tom Cruise. I would've went with Ryan Seacrest, but I'm not getting into it  :lol:
GameShowFan9001, can I please have your bid and your choice of a box (#1 or #2)?
TPIRfan#9821 ------------> $809
1233: Hey!!!
{reaches to yellow podium}
{grabs duct tape from tpir04}
You don't have to play nice down there, but get your own duct tape. I'm already cutting it close with the budget, and this stuff doesn't grow on trees.  :-)
Anyways, the price of the boxing package is...
(https://i.imgur.com/XqBqZbD.png)
...so come on up, TPIRfan#9821!!!
{applause}
To keep the show moving, which box would you like to open?
{chooses #2}
Let's see then.
{I remove the box to reveal an old phone}
(https://i.imgur.com/pMSsajh.png)
This is one old fashioned phone. For all you whippersnappers in the crowd, this is what the elders would refer to as a landline.
{sarcastic oohs and aahs}
Who am I kidding? I am one of those whippersnappers!!
This thing doesn't even have the pound and star keys, where are they?
Announcer: Well, the pound sign is right over there.
{points to door 2}
(https://i.imgur.com/HzP82a0.png)
1233: Wait, are you telling me you changed the WHOLE NAME, signage and all, just for a one off gag?
Announcer: Signs aren't cheap, y'know? Why else would the budget be this small for a season premiere?
{I deeply inhales while rubbing his temples}
1233: Fine, just fine. Where's the star then?
Announcer: Couldn't afford to put it up there too, so I chucked it
{I give him a dirty look as I turn back to TPIRfan and walk to the game}
1233: I'll deal with him later, but for now you are going to play Pound Sign, that coincidently plays similarly to Magic #, a game you might have actually heard of.
{some laughter}
But let's see what you will be playing for first.
{door 2 opens}
Announcer: It's a cataraft and a snowmobile!!
(https://i.imgur.com/E82f3eq.png)
First, this 18 ft cataraft from NRS has great stability if you know what you're doing and has a repair kit included in case you haven't a clue! {modeled by Amber}
(https://i.imgur.com/LmFZ2Af.png)
And this Polaris white lightning snowmobile comes with a handlebar bag and an extra tall windshield for conveinence as well as protection! {modeled by Manuela}
There they are, 123123123!!!
(https://i.imgur.com/HzP82a0.png)
{camera cuts to me looking at game sign with disgust}
1233: Ugh. At least that explains the budget.  :roll:
Anyways, the cataraft is the less expensive of the two, and the snowmobile is the more expensive. I just need you to adjust this lever until there is a number between the prices of those two prizes displayed.
I'm now leaving the lever in your capable hands, while I go have a quick talk with my announcer. I'll be back in 2 minutes top.
Don't make regret leaving you up here...alone...in front of all these cameras...with minimal supervision.  :lol:
{audience start yelling out guesses}
Um... I don't think the thing is plugged in? Shouldn't I be seeing a 0, not a blank screen?
*peeks behind board*
Nope, I guess it is plugged in. Maybe it's like Wheel of Fortune, where the number doesn't show until an input is put onto the screen?
*nudges device down*
(https://i.imgur.com/4QkpyUu.jpg)
...This thing goes into the negatives? :twisted:
*forces the lever down*
Let's see how long I can keep this bad boy going!
(like 5 minutes later)
(https://i.imgur.com/Z8aZOr8.jpg)
(https://i.imgur.com/hl3tMrm.jpg)
Aw, it's only a 16-bit integer? I was hoping I could go on for much longer without overflow. Anyways, my hand is getting a little tired. Maybe I can tape something down to the lever?
*takes boxing gloves, and with a menacing look at tpir04, takes the duct tape*
Now, I just need to do this just right... hold on...
(https://i.imgur.com/9ybiGzk.jpg)
There. Now I can fix this game. All I need is a Sharpie and some cardboard. Be right back!
*wanders backstage for another four minutes or so*
(https://i.imgur.com/pVRJQTZ.jpg)
...um, that's not good at all. Let me just add more duct tape to the lever and give my fix to the game...
(https://i.imgur.com/Ydn6glx.jpg)
...and it's perfect! I'll just lock that in, and pray that the duct tape holds.
{looks over at door 2}
{looks to the crowd}
{looks back to door 2}
...
...WHAT ON EARTH!?!?!
{Mr. Announcer scrambles back to his podium}
I left this stage with one problem, and I come back with TWO NEW ONES!!!
First, I have you {points to TPIRfan#9821} over here. I told you to pull the lever and not make me regret anything. I come back and see you pulling your best Bob the Builder impression on my props  :-)
{looks at renovations}
(https://i.imgur.com/SVrp9WH.jpg)
Admittedly, except for the godawful cardboard, it doesn't look half bad.  ;-)
{TPIRfan#9821 with a toothy grin, duct tape in hand}
Wipe that smirk off your face, doesn't mean I've forgotten what happened here. And what I say earlier about the duct tape!?! Hand it over.
{crowd laughs}
Oh yeah, and as for you...
{pointing directly to tpir04 in the crowd}
...if you don't stop trying to entice a riot to give this hooligan a technical win, I'll show you what REALLY happens to contestants not appearing on stage.  :-x
Ok, now that my blood pressure is back under 200, let's try to see if you've won. You've set the gizmo to a nice round $4,974.
Manuela, can you please show us the price of the snowmobile.
{Manuela flips the tag}
(https://i.imgur.com/G6zl9Hp.png)
{ding}
{cheers from the audience}
$5,709. This actually looks pretty good. If that cataraft is less than $4,974, I'll have no choice be to reward you for what you done here.
Amber, flip it!!!
{flips tag}
(https://i.imgur.com/7bMVXYx.png)
{ding, ding ,ding, ding, ding, ding, ding}
{loud roars from crowd}
And I'm shaking the hand of a winner. You can head over there to your prizes, but please don't touch anything on the way  :lol:
Announcer: I think we all need a break, and here comes one now. More great pricing games on the second half of 123123123's TPiR
I'm now leaving the lever in your capable hands, while I go have a quick talk with my announcer. I'll be back in 2 minutes top.
{after a 20 minute meeting backstage with my announcer, we both return back on stage}
And you wonder why we got into mischief. YOUR MEETING LASTED 17 EFFING HOURS! Really, Numbers. Really.  :P
And you wonder why we got into mischief. YOUR MEETING LASTED 17 EFFING HOURS! Really, Numbers. Really.  :P
Time is but a construct, young grasshopper. It's simply measured by how quickly events occur relative to each other.
You see 17 hours, I see 17 minutes.
...
{snaps out of philosophical daze}
I should really stop taking all the medicine I see in these commercials at the same time  :-o
****************************************************************************
{after multiple medication commercials, we are back to the stage}
1233: I'm still reeling after that whole debacle from earlier. Sadly, we have time for only one more contestant. Who is it going to be?
Announcer: It's going to be JayC, come on down. You are the next contestant on the Price is Right!!!
{applause}
1233: Now first for you consideration are these 3 envelopes.
(https://i.imgur.com/e6f7Fzd.png)
And their clues are as follows.
Envelope #1: A Flair for the Dramatic
Envelope #2: Paper over Plastic
Envelope #3: Plant Based
Now the final item up for you to bid on is coming from rafters. Take a look.
{wall descends}
Announcer: It's a lovely area rug!! {modeled by Amber}
(https://i.imgur.com/m1RJFAi.png)
This 6' by 9' mariposa area rug is hand woven and perfect for covering up all your areas!
{applause}
1233: Now JayC, this is your one bid and only envelope choice, try not to waste them. No pressure  ;-)
Bidding Order:
...so tpir04, come on up!!
{applause}
Now, for your envelope choice?
{picks #2}
Seems as good a choice as any. Let's see.
{opens envelope, revealing a $100 gift card}
(https://i.imgur.com/izGQz58.png)
Wow, this is surprisingly a nice gift as well as a clue.
{hands over to tpir04}
There aren't too many things nicer than having the ability to spend mone on whatever you like. That's why I was so disappointed that SuperSweeper didn't do better on Grand Game earlier. I know if I ever made it on stage, I'd want to play for some cash, preferably $100,000 playing Pay the Rent. But, even with all my pricing knowledge, that would still be a tough task. Maybe, I would fair better in Time is Money. It's still a pretty big cash prize, and I think I'm decently fast. I used to run track back in high school, so I could definitely handle it. But the time pressure could get to me. Man, how I crumble under pressure.  I guess I never really thought about how...
{tpir04 interrupts my monologing, motioning to back of card}
Huh, what?
{looks at back}
Oh, well I guess it expired in 2017. To be fair, it was a left over from one of our old shows from a while back.  :lol:
But, no problem. You can earn some of your own cash, as well as this!!!
{Race Game curtain rises}
Announcer: It's a brand new car!!! {modeled by Rachel}
(https://i.imgur.com/hmDkToU.png)
This 2019 Nissan Rogue SV 4WD has 4 cylinders, has all the standard equipment, and includes auto dimming rearview mirrors. It's the Nissan Rogue!!!
{loud cheers and applause}
(https://i.imgur.com/314nGCG.png)
1233: Who needs weird plastic money that inexplicably expires, when you can get some good, old fashioned, no expiration dated paper money?
And you can do that playing Gas Money. Of course, when you win it, you don't necessarily have to use it for gas. That's up to you.  :-D
Now, one of these is the price of the Rogue and has the pink slip attached. The others have varying amounts of money on the back. If you pick all the money totaling $10,000 first, you get both the car and the money.
{cheers}
OK, so where would you like to start, tpir04? Remember, not the right price.
{crowd starts screaming out prices}
Anyways, while I'm already here...
**yells lower from crowd**
If you recall, Numbers suggested lower from the audience, it was wrong, and it cost me your bonus!  ;)
Ouch.
Also, I'd avoid $28,685 and $29,465 until the very end. If I had to pick one, I would probably lean toward $29,465, but I'm not too sure.
Uhh... I don't know if you remember this, but... Numbers won everything I set up when he got on my stage.  :-D
Oh, and the showcase would've pitted me against Numbers anyway! So he goes and misleads me just to make me lose, so I didn't have to face him in the showcase! What a rotten trick. Nobody knew it would happen in that way, but still, what a dirty trick.
1233: Our runner up today is tpir04, and our big winner is TPIRfan#9821. so let's give 'em a big round of applause for getting here!!!
{applause from crowd}
The resident carpenter and resident rioter, both in one showcase round. This should be fun.  :-D
Now this Pick Your Adventure show has been great so far, so we're gonna keep it going for as long as we can.  So we are bringing back the famous (or infamous) Build Your Own showcase!!!
{applause as turntable turns revealing more envelopes}
(https://i.imgur.com/G4SdUYx.png)
Now TPIRfan#9821, as the big winner, you get to build your own showcase. How you do that, you ask? It's very similar to the previous picks you've made.
I would like you to pick 2 envelopes from the left side of this board (A, B, C and D), and 1 envelope from the right side of the board (X, Y and Z).
The clues are below and we can all see what has become of your choices together. But remember, the clues aren't always as straightforward as they seem.  :-x
Best of luck!
Envelope A: For the Free Spirited
Envelope B: For the Fancy
Envelope C: For the Talented
Envelope D: For the Lazy
Envelope X: For the Quick
Envelope Y: For the Contemporary
Envelope Z: For the Popular
1233: Ok, let's see the first showcase. Pay close attention because this could to either one of you.
*******************************************************************************************************
Announcer: Now, coming this fall to CBS is a new soap opera, The Fancy and the Lazy. It follows the lives of two feuding royal families from neighboring countries, and how their schemes to stop each other are foiled by their own sluggish personalities.  :-)
To talk more about it is one of The Fancy and the Lazy's biggest stars, Lisa Unreale!!
{some scattered applause}
Unreale: Thank you for the warm welcome! Now my character on the show, Misty Maverick, is all about being in the know-how about all things fashion. So she wouldn't be caught dead without some designer accessories!!!
{turntable turns}
(https://i.imgur.com/Gq8OlNa.png)
Announcer: This accessory package include a Louis Vuitton men痴 messenger bag because paper messages are still a thing, a pair of studded Christian Louboutin heels that double as melee weapons and 2 pairs of Coach sunglasses for when you want to look at the sun in style! {modeled by Manuela}
Unreale: Now our show is similar to the Young and the Restless, the Bold and the Beautiful and some of the most popular soaps on TV today. But that doesn't mean we don't like taking risks.
For example, plenty of our most scandalous and steamy twists happen in the bedroom. However, a good amount of drama comes from the characters watching each other sleep. So now you can see how that works for you with your new bedroom set!
{door 2 opens}
(https://i.imgur.com/NkZ1sAk.png)
Announcer: This rustic queen bedroom set includes a storage bed, nightstand dresser and mirror/wall chest. We have also incuded a cashmere top queen mattress for you because the set is pretty useless without a mattress! {modeled by Rachel}
Unreale: Finally, on my days off, I enjoy going fast and avoiding traffic. And the best way to do that is avoid the roads altogether. That why I get around everywhere with this new powerboat!!
{door 3 opens}
(https://i.imgur.com/GL0dWl9.png)
Announcer: From Saver, this Italian cabin cruiser is 6 m long has a 100L fuel tank is equipped with a 12 V battery and can reach speeds of 80 knots (90 mph for you landlubbers  :-)) {modeled by Amber}
Unreale: So if this soap opera themed showcase sounded good to you, then it can all be yours, but only if the Price is Right!!
*******************************************************************************
(https://i.imgur.com/8eZjkfO.png)
{applause}
1233: You've gotta love that cross-promotion, am I right? Let's hear it again for Linda Unreale from The Fancy and the Lazy!
{scattered applause}
Unreale: It's Lisa, not Linda
1233: That's what I said, isn't it?  :-)
Anyways, TPIRfan#9821, you put this showcase together with your bare hands. The question is do you keep it or pass it?
*ditches any and all forms of logic*
Aw, the heck with it. I'll say $26,630.  :oldlol:
****************************************************************************
Announcer: TPIRfan, our gracious host has given you the rare opportunity to make your own showcase and how do you repay him? By passing it away like it's nothing.
Now there's no way that we are letting you make more decisions here today, no siree. From now on, you get what we give you. More specifically, you get the leftovers you abandoned in these other poor envelopes.
Don't get me wrong, leftovers can be great. Heck, I'm the kind of person that goes to Thanksgiving dinner just to see the tasty meals I'm going to have for the following week.  :-)
So hopefully these leftovers are good, too. So just sit back, relax and get what's coming to ya!!
{applause}
{announcer opens Envelope C}
Now, whether you already are talented or looking to get there, it couldn't hurt having this...
{GPT rises}
...digital piano!!! {modeled by Amber}
(https://i.imgur.com/j6YICQF.png)
This quality clavinova digital piano comes in polished ebony and has 256 note polyphony, 16 track recording and damper resonance. It makes for the perfect living room addition when you want to trick guests into thinking you're cultured!!
{applause as Envelope A is opened}
Now, I bet that you would love to be able to appreciate the history of piano music and music in general. So how about we send you somewhere where you can fully do that?
That's why we're sending you on a trip to Tokyo!!!
(https://i.imgur.com/pryGpKT.png)
You and a guest will fly roundtrip from Los Angeles to Tokyo, staying at the Ritz Carlton Tokyo. From here you will be steps away from both Fujifilm Square and Hinokicho Park, great tourist spots for the free spirited!! {modeled by Rachel at door 4}
{more applause}
{opens Envelope Y}
Now that you've been able to find yourself and relax during this showcase, it's OK to splurge a little. So that why we've given you...
{door 2 opens}
...this BRAND NEW CAR!!! {modeled by Manuela}
(https://i.imgur.com/k7UnpfI.png)
This 2020 Hyundai Elantra SEL comes with intellegent variable transmission, rear bumper applique and a convenience package. The Hyundai Elantra!!!
{loud applause}
{holds up Envelope Z}
One last thing, we are all about equality hare at the Numbers studio. So if you think we are going to give you an extra prize, you are sorely mistaken.  :lol:
{puts Envelope Z through a shredder}
So, if leftovers are your thing, then this is your showcase, but only if the Price is Right!!!!
From all of us here at the Numbers Studio, we hope you had a great time!!!
Just some quick notes about the unchosen options and the show in general
****************************************************
*Overall, the only thigs that were set in stone were the IUFB's and the game options/prizes. Originally, there weren't going to be any clues, but I felt that really didn't make it feel that you really were involved
*Anyone who remembers my old shows knows that making the games easy wasn't my forte (it's a character flaw  ;-)). With this format, I was able to make both easy and hard setups.  The problem was that for two of the three segments (excluding Magic #), you chose the hardest option in my opinion.
*For the first game, if the opposite envelope was chosen (So You're Saying There's a Chance?), I was planning on going on a whole spiel about the odds of the contestant making it on stage at that particular moment. And then explain how the 1/720 odds of randoml winning It's In the Bag are nothing to worry about. What made IITB slightly easier, is that the salmon was going to be the extraneous product. The biggest part with this act is I buy a lot of fish and forgot that not everyone is me.  :-)
*For the part of the show that was supposed to be the slow point, Magic # was hilarious for me and hopefully you as well (sometimes, it takes someone duct taping your props to really open you eyes  :-)). BTW, the prop really does look better than it did before, so all the credit goes to TPIRfan#9821 for that
*The other option (One For Now, One For Later) as going to be Double Cross, with the clue being a reference to one prize being used now (in the summer) and one later (in the winter). The original clue I was going to use was "Flagged for Plagiarism", with a visual gag of the American Red Cross flag and the Switerland flag. They are pretty much the same except the colors are inversed and they both have crosses (two crosses = double cross?), but I thought it was a bit too convoluted
*For the last pricing game, the hardest option by far was picked in Gas Money, so the early bailout wasn't too out of the blue. For the first clue (Flair for the Dramatic), the light would have dimmed and a stereo backstage would have started playing Bonnie Tyler's hit "Total Eclipse of the Heart" (if you haven't heard it, do your self a favor: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcOxhH8N3Bo (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcOxhH8N3Bo)  :lol: ). The iconic first words are "Turn around, every now and then..." and as those lyrics come out, Bonus Game set up for a win turns around on the turntable.
*For the third clue (Plant Based), there was a pile of small leaves that our unpaid stagehand had to come out and tell me were supposed to represent 7 four leaf clovers inside the envelope, signifying Lucky 7. The stagehand was then promptly fired. Also, since I'm not the biggest fan of the game, I couldn't bring myself to make the price any nicer than $27,885.
*Shockingly, the showcases were the most structured part of the whole show! With the way I wrote the clues, the theme fit almost perfectly, but not without some creative liberties (The Fancy and the Lazy was truly the only combo I didn't want to be chosen). Then, the leftover showcases made sense afterwards. The one envelope not used (Envelope Z), was actually as luxourious as the clue implied. It was a 2020 Volvo XC40 T5 Momentum AWD, but I didn't use it because I wanted the two showcases to be as close in value as possible, and the cheapest possible choices were picked in Showcase 1.
*So I was glad that I was able to try my hand at this again. Personally, I feel that half hour shows might be better as the general go to. Being able to get through a show in 1 week is much more enjoyable for everyone involved, than having it drag out. But that's just me.
Like I said earlier, thanks to all who signed up and participated. Also, don't forget to go and sign up for PatrickRox80's show right now if you haven't already. I'm going to do right now! :-D
