At least that's the case for the East Coast - it may have been shown later on for the Western areas?

IIRC, the 12/3 (Cyber Monday) episode aired in its entirety in the Pacific time zone. It was the 12/5 episode that did not air (and the 12/6 episode had an brief interruption near the end).
