Nick is going to have a field day on this: Drew messed up big time on Bonus Game. He pushed the CORRECT choices back into the game during play! See what happens when you don't play a pricing game for five months?! Heck he pushed ALL the choices back! Still, great that it finally got played!  This was the first day of my vacation week, and it was such a shock to see Bonus, I didn't even see if it came around the turntable!

That's Too Much = That's Too Evil!!!!

Pretty good line-up overall.

Solid lineup.

Bonus Game...wow.  He totally spaced it.  But I'll say this:  if sometime in the future we get word that Bonus Game was whacked (which I will be VERY disappointed if it does), look to today for why.  And we got Bonus coming around on the turntable!

Second place for the winning price on TTM?  Wow.

And the first showcase...a time saver?

Opening: Drew came through the Big Doors without his glasses! For a moment, I thought he'd had surgery to correct his vision. Guess I was wrong, though.

Money Game: I would've picked 54 as the last two numbers as well.

Eazy az 1-2-3: As soon as I saw the computer's price, I knew she didn't have a chance.

Bonus Game: It's back! But what's up with Drew pushing the right choices back into the board instead of pulling them all the way to the left? That's confusing as hell!

SCSD1: Woo-hoo, Dig We Must is back as the outro music!

Pick-a-Number: I thought 8, and also lost.

Grand Game: The easiest $10,000 made right here!

That's Too Much!: When was the last time the second choice was the right one? I was thinking more like $20,000, not less than that.

SCSD2: That Bonus Spin was so heartbreakingly close...

Showcases: Britney, I hope you check out the Sounders on your trip to Seattle!

Not a bad show, but there were some things that I could certainly do without.

The glasses bit derailed the opening of the show a bit. Sort of sapped the energy and momentum of the opening. The audience was taken aback by it, it seemed; still doing the opening cheering and already confronted by this. How to react? They just sort of kept cheering, which I guess worked. Kinda.

Great to hear a long playing of the Eazy As 123 cue!

Neat shot as Bonus came round the 'Table. From the Joe Plinkos Do Notice file: after Drew completely botched Bonus Game, my mom came in and said "he messed it up, didn't he?" "Yeah, how'd you know?" "I realized at the end I had no idea which ones he won and which he lost."

That's Too Much should be retitled "I Was Told To Stop". :P  Totally a forced loss there.

The Cannes showcase ended abruptly. Cash shouldn't really serve as a third prize... I smelled $$$ on the second showcase. That Assorted Coffee Junk couldn't have been cheap. But in CSS...Uuugh, over by $170 on SC2.  :wsd:

Not really the best show today, but at least we didn't get wagnered today.

In the "Drew Lost His Glasses" routine, I thought for a moment Drew was loosely mirroring Barker where he had a small chat before OB#1.  Something that Bob used to do before he stopped it in 1992(?).

My comments now.
Opening: I laughed out loud when I saw Drew come out with no glasses on.
Money Game: Great playing by Catherine. Getting the first two numbers with her first choice helped her a lot.
Eazy as 123: I personally thought that Britney played this game very well. If only the audience hadn't talked her into switching the places of the second and third blocks. If the audience hadn't done that, Britney would have won. That audience owes her all three of the prizes from this game, whivh were the skateboard, the computer and the range.
Bonus Game: Nice job by Brian.
SCSD #1: At least Britney made up for her PG loss by advancing to the showcase with her 90 cent total.
Pick A Number: When 6, 7 and 8 are your choices in this game, then it becomes a complete toss up. Lillian did try her best, but she came up a wee bit short, unfortunately.
Grand Game: Nice playing by Mariah. But about her "You're only on Price is Right once" comment, that's not exactly true. She can be a contestant again in ten years, assuming the show's still on the air then.
That's Too Much: More like That's Too Evil. I was not expecting the second price on the scale to be the correct one. They most certainly did not want this game won today. Janet tried her best, though.
SCSD #2: Nice job by Lillian getting a dollar on the nose on the wheel. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see Janet's second spin or Mariah's first spin because somebody at the control panel on Omni2, the station that airs the show up here in Toronto, jumped the gun and went to a commercial in the middle of the segment. Fortunately, the station got the show back on before the segment had finished.
Showcases: Nice bidding by Britney and a close finish to boot.
Show grade: 7/10

I recall Barker making the same error on one occation... hardly the end of the world

I'm not saying it was... but I sure don't recall Bob pushing ALL of them back in the same playing. Also, Bob corrected himself when he did on the few times he did.

Here's a bigger question...this particular way of playing made it extremely confusing for the viewer to watch.  And the crew had to know that.  Why didn't Kathy or Adam or Scott or Syd or Mike or Rich signal to Drew to fix it?

He nearly had all four SPs described together, too.  Just a really ugly play.

And I forgot from my original post about the open.  I really liked it...it did harken back to the days of Barker monologues.

Hello everyone!  Long-time lurker, first-time poster.  I have a few thoughts about today's show . . .

Opening: How much time does Drew have to actually get ready for the show?  It seems like he's not really even paying attention to the show until like five seconds before the doors open.  However, I am glad he's still wearing glasses, and the banter with the audience before the first One Bid was a nice throwback.

I enjoyed today's line up for the most part.  I can live with Money Game first if we get to see Bonus Game, et. al. more often.  Speaking of Bonus Game, yikes.  I think today shoots down the theory that  they were holding off on some games so that Drew could learn to host them better.  At least we got to see it coming around on the turntable, and it doesn't look that bad in HD.

That first showcase just flew by.  I wish there had been another prize at the end.  It just seems so skimpy when the showcase has only two "real" prizes and the trip is purchased through a travel agency, so the description is short already.

I enjoyed the rest of the show for the most part.

I thought todays show was alright except during the play of Bonus Game. I am with the consensus here and I will say he totally botched it up.  I was like what the heck  8-O.

Also, if you ask me, I believe Rich was sucking up to Drew when he said, after Drew said he forgot his glasses, "you want me to run back and get them?"   Rich should know he would have to stay at the podium to describe the FIUFB.

Besides the senseless loss of TTM and the screw up with BG, I'd say todays show was pretty good.  Still happy to see Rich calling a contestant before the 6th IUFB.

Maybe drew got a talking to after his bonus game performance or realized he messed it up..
when he knocked into the giant price tag later on and said "its been one of those days..." you could tell he was feeling like nothing was going right, but he kept a pretty good attitude about it.

-Lineup: Relatively strong with only one quickie. Maybe switch TTM/Money for shock value.
-Money: There you go. 10/10
-Eazy: Darn Peanut Gallery! It was just a little thing. 7/10
-Bonus: Wow, that contestant entrance led to a full turntable. Interesting that >35 was the bonus over >150. (See my grading on Drew for more.) 10/10
-SD1: 4/5
-Pa#: Another crapshoot. 8/10
-Grandy: Wow, that could have easily been lost on those batteries! 10/10
-TTHARD: I was hoping they learned they can NOT set it up that way. 3rd is the minimum and 8th is the maximum (or perhaps 9th), leave the rest alone. 8/10
-SD2: 5/5
-SC1: ...Rushed and that's it? 3.5/5
-SC2: Made good sense, contestant matched hyper, but recap. 4.5/5
-Results: Wow, Cannes was really high, which led to the car win! 9/10
-Drew: I am not going to take Bonus too seriously today. It's the first time it's been played in months. I am sure by next time it will be done correctly, otherwise it may become another problem. 8/10

PGs: 53/60
SDs: 9/10
SCs: 17/20
Drew: 8/10

87 --> B+

Opening: Drew came through the Big Doors without his glasses! For a moment, I thought he'd had surgery to correct his vision. Guess I was wrong, though.

Drew has had LASIK surgery to correct his nearsightedness, which in turn made him somewhat farsighted, so he has the glasses to read things closeup.  Same thing happened to my brother.

I agree that Bonus Game was botched. I'll cut some slack because it has been a while since it has been played. And that first showcase was... lacking.

I noticed that the light border around the doors was green during Grand Game today (it was still blue on Wednesday).

With the Bonus Game screwup in mind, while I agree it shouldn't have happened, perhaps a friendly reminder before the show airs (e.g., "Do you remember how to play this game with the contestant?") would have helped.

Or maybe, again — and I've suggested this before, and I've gotten resistance with this idea — a stopdown to correct the problem. Yes, it frustrating to stop tape (yes, I do understand the argument of keeping it as close to real time as possible), but better to spend a few extra moments getting it right than have what we apparently got today ... an embarassing mistake that should not have happened.

Hey, in the WWE, on the pre-taped programs, they re-tape matches that were especially bad. Why not do apply the same concept here?

Drew was fair today.  He wasn't outstanding, and he seemed like his mind was somewhere else half the time, but at least he tried, and there were points when it worked.  That's still not as good as he needs to be, but it's more than could have been expected from him a few months ago.

The music today was awful.  The cue used in Eazy az 1 2 3 was particularly bad; it might have been the worst piece of music I've ever heard on the show.

Speaking of Eazy az 1 2 3, I wonder what made Drew let Britney take the blocks one at a time, the way Bob used to.  It was a nice throwback.

Still speaking of Eazy, Drew did something right today that I wonder if he even realizes he did:  At the end of the game, he pointed out in a disapppointed voice that Britney had had everything right and then changed it because of the audience.

BONUS GAME!!!  And spinning on the Turntable, no less!  That's the first time the game has been revealed properly in about five years!

Speaking of Bonus Game, I wonder why Drew didn't leave out the panels for the prizes Brian won.  It's probably got something to do with the game not having been played in almost five months.  Ironically, he handled the "Bonus" reveal the best he ever has.

Dang, they had the stopping point in That's Too Much! at the second price again.  I said it the first time that happened, and I'll say it again now:  Roger would consider that cheating.

The first showcase was...um...short.  Seriously, after all the goofy scripts earlier this season that intentionally made it sound like they weren't going to have a third prize, actually not having one beyond that $1,500 was pretty stupid.  It didn't even feel like they'd finished writing the thing.

The glasses bit derailed the opening of the show a bit. Sort of sapped the energy and momentum of the opening. The audience was taken aback by it, it seemed; still doing the opening cheering and already confronted by this. How to react? They just sort of kept cheering, which I guess worked. Kinda.

You know, I got the impression that he didn't do that on purpose and that he really had forgotten them.  It kind of reminded me of the times a few years ago when Bob declared that he couldn't go on with the show because there was static electricity all over his pants.  Still, it speaks to how bad an idea it was to do all the unfunny scripted "jokes" earlier this year -- now Drew can't even make an honest mistake without us accusing him of going after cheap laughs, and he doesn't really have anyone but himself to blame for it.

Maybe drew got a talking to after his bonus game performance or realized he messed it up..

when he knocked into the giant price tag later on and said "its been one of those days..." you could tell he was feeling like nothing was going right, but he kept a pretty good attitude about it.

He certainly handled it better than when he fouled up Safe Crackers a few months ago.

Is this the first time Mike Richards was seen on camera since he started working at the show?

One thing I'd like to point out today that was interesting to me was that Catherine did the "Shame on you!" motion with her fingers after she found out her daughter or whomever was wrong about 20 being the last two numbers of the Jeep.

Drew really was bad during Bonus Game with the windows, but he got the rules down pat, in my opinion.  We also got to see an interesting shot of Brian walking up the turntable steps and seeing Bonus Game coming around on the turntable for the first time in years, let alone the first playing in months.  I really wondered why Drew went into hurry-up mode about halfway through the game.

I really like how Dig We Must plays after the first showcase showdown again.  It's a throwback to the old days and it makes the showcase showdown segments consistent with each other.

I wonder why Drew picked up the 3 in Pick-a-Number near the end of the game.  It does provide viewers with an idea of how the numbers are loaded into the prop, though.

It's been quite some time since the Blue Star ointment appeared in a GP game and I wonder how long it has been since fire logs were on the show in a GP setup.

I kind of liked how DiPirro zoomed out as Drew was pointing to That's Too Much's title while Janet was saying "They told me to stop" or something like that.

Drew seemed indifferent during Money Game and Grand Game when it came to revealing prices, but he hosted today like he actually gave a darn about the show, which is a good thing.  But I will say he needs to get his enthusiasm up there more; he's capable of it, as evidenced by exciting wins, but he needs to unleash it to keep the game moving along.

Dang, they had the stopping point in That's Too Much! at the second price again.  I said it the first time that happened, and I'll say it again now:  Roger would consider that cheating.

Is there some psychology behind always putting the stopping point between the third and ninth prices and never the first, second, or tenth?

Money:  Wow, two consecutive playings where the correct numbers were front and back of each other on the board.  Plus, the two correct numbers were found dead center and center right both times... except that on Wednesday, the back half was dead center and the front half was center right.

EZ:  Shoot this music cue!  And oh yeah... thanks a lot, audience!

Bonus:  Yay!  Bonus Game! :P Spinning on the turntable... just as it should always be shown.  Yay!  Half-Off cue, too! :P OK, we all know that Drew messed up in this game by not sliding all captured prizes to the front of the Goodson marks... but please cut him a little slack.  Bonus Game hasn't been played since 1975 1993 October.

PA#:  WTF?!  The three choices were 6, 7, and 8?!  Did Roger ever offer choices like that?  Would Roger consider that cheating?

Grandy:  "Well, of course this game is winnable, Drew.  Come to think of it, all games are winnable." "Actually, Mariah, you're not on TPIR only once... at least, not anymore."  I would've lost today.  I thought that log was over $6.  I've never lived in a house with a fireplace, so I wouldn't know how much logs cost.

TTM!:  Once again, the correct price was in slot #2.  I don't know about that PA# setup earlier, but we know that Roger would never be mean enough to pull something like this even once, let alone twice, in a season.

SC #1: ... is that it?  That has to be the shortest showcase in history.  Even the one-prize showcases have lasted longer than this one.

My showcase bids:
Cannes--$17,507
Car--$20,107

Alfonzo, I never would have expected you to make such a statement about me.  Meh, yeah, it was irksome that Drew didn't handle the game as well as it should have been, but perhaps playing it much more frequently, which it ought to be, would correct that problem.

I may have been more bothered by the fact that DiPirro didn't have the camera set up to shoot the Bonus Game board head-on as it spun around.  Nice that we did get to see it, but it would have been much more awesome to see the proper shot of it coming around.

There is a mentality that the price "couldn't" be close to the beginning or at the very end of the line.  It's not really based on anything logical; it's just the way people think when they go into this sort of thing.  Roger knew this and presumably realized that putting the stopping point in those particular spots would be very, very mean, so he never did it.

Good Show Today, here are my comments

Money=NICE! good win, thought it was 54 as well for the back
EZ=She had it, i would have lost as well thinking that was a pricy stove
Bonus=YAY WE SEE IT. Nice playing, Drew messed up the windows but i think that is just because it hasnt been played in 5 months
SCSD1=Solid, no complaints
PAN=Could have been any of the 3, total crapsgoot, i would have picked the 7 and lost
Grand=nice win, thought she would get tripped up by the batteries and thought she lost on the log
TTM=EVIL!
SCSD2=Ditto SC1
SC1=THATS IT, thought 4-5000 for the  game and $10,000 for the trip.
SC2=Nice, Kind of hard to price(Sad for me because i went over in css by $48 on this one)
Results=Just what I felt would happen

OVERALL=Nice show today, lineup was good and drew was decent
8.80/10

Has there always been a brace at the top of the Big Wheel?  Usually the shot avoids the very top of the wheel, but it was visible today.

I may have been more bothered by the fact that DiPirro didn't have the camera set up to shoot the Bonus Game board head-on as it spun around.  Nice that we did get to see it, but it would have been much more awesome to see the proper shot of it coming around.

In fairness, Brian leapt onto the stage and up onto the turntable so fast I think they'd have had a very difficult time getting the camera in place in time.  It was impressive enough that they caught everything enough and still got the full turntable reveal (complete with a view of the curtain behind the turntable that I didn't even know was there.

No, you could clearly see that the camera that would have shot the Turntable head-on was pointed at the audience and made no movements as Brian leapt onto the stage, and even if Brian ascended the stairs as you would expect a contestant to do, that camera still wouldn't have been used until you'd cut to the head-on shot of Bonus Game coming around.

Pick-a-Number was about as evil as you can get. Talk about a pure toss-up.

The same can be said for That's Too Much. Come on... the second choice?!

BEST CONTESTANT OF THE DAY: Catherine, but Stan picked many good contestants today, so props to him

-Opening: One note- it was awkward trying to get a shot of Rich at the intro... we only got 1 second of candid laughter in the shot. I have a feeling it was a joke... but the joke had great comedic timing, if that's the case.
-Money Game: 20 was a dumb choice... surely someone would've noticed that the 20-21-22 were reserved choices for the front 2 (until proven otherwise)
-Eazy: I think the way it was executed today was actually good... I think not overloading the contestants with the blocks is a bit of a cleaner way to go at it. And the Peanut Gallery is living up to their name today.
-Bonus Game: Easily two of the grandest entrances we've ever had on this show. [Insert obvious "Wuh?" reaction to Drew's manipulation of the price tags]
-OB 4: Backdrop's ugly. Throw it back!
-Pick a Number: Hate the setup. Throw it back![/quote]
-Grand Game: I love the camera-flash effect on the $10K graphic. I might've whiffed on the batteries if I did it a certain order...
-TTM: I thought she had UNDERshot that... wow. That's vicious.
-SCSD2: I smell the fire from a burning hot wheel.  :-D
-Showcases: Can-Can -> Cannes. Makes sense. (That's not a coincidence... to those historically "challenged", like me.) :)
We really need at least 3 prizes in a showcase... even if the value's high. ($1500 wad doesn't count, obviously)

Bids:
SC1- $15100 (Whoa... that's expensive. <$5000)
SC2- $25000 (Grr... OVER)

Hey, I liked it today. Brian's energy was awesome, looks like he's a hip-hop dancer in his spare time.  :-D

While I agree it is "mean" to make positions 1, 2, 9, and 10 the winning place to stop, there are 10 spots and any one of them could be the winner.   If #1 and #2 are never right, you may as well make the $1 and $2.    I think I would be funny if the price under $10 was something like $99,999,999   :)

Money Game: Nice win.
Eazy az 123: That was a tough loss.
Bonus Game: Welcome back to the rotation. I hope they got all of the dust off the prop!  It was also nice to see the turntable shot. I am loving all the shots DiPirro is bringing back.
SCSD: Good score to win with
Pick a Number: 6, 7, or 8? They must of wanted this game lost.
Grand Game: I was thinking the fish fillets as well. Excellent choice!
That’s too Much: It was nice to see a car game last. The six slot is usually relegated to a quickie. That was the second worst spot to place the winning spot.
SCSD: Another dollar!
Showcase #1: this one seemed kind of….short.
Showcase #2: I’m not too crazy about personalizing showcases, but if they are going to do that, then they should only personalize the second one. (Keep in mind: I’m not saying that they should keep personalizing them.)

Has there always been a brace at the top of the Big Wheel?  Usually the shot avoids the very top of the wheel, but it was visible today.

I wanna say that's been there since sometime in 2003.

Money: Despite not a wise choice to choose 20, Catheine starts things off in a rapid-fire way. Excellent.  :-)

Easy: P.U. Shucks!!!! What kind of bloody music did they play? Get rid of it!!!! The peanut gallery claims another player's instincts again and showing them in that bumper to commercial added more insult to injury.

Bonus: WELCOME BACK!!!!!  :-D :-D :-D Turntable shot intact as well. Loved it!!!! Drew did looked "spaced out" after revealing the first prize. That's the trouble when a game that's been MIA since October has to endure. Great playing, though.

P-a-N: Meh.

Grand: It was a 50-50 choice between the batteries and the log for me. I'm glad Mariah went on the right route!!! Great win.  :-)

TTM: The 2nd price again??!!! The Dob didn't take it this far.

Showcases: What a drag with the first showcase!!! Maybe the writers ran out of ideas about what should follow the cash?

A 3.25-star show.

In Money Game, does one win the money collected in the left-handed column if one wins the car?

I'd also to someday see the 10th panel in That's Too Much revealed.

Yes, people do win any money they find on the Money Game board in addition to the car.

A few years ago, someone went all the way to the tenth price in That's Too Much and not surprisingly lost.  Also, earlier this year I believe, Drew revealed all of the prices, including the tenth one.

OPEN - I think this is the first time Mike Richards has had any camera time.

Money -  "Guess what audience, you're wrong!"

Eazy - That cue used during the prize descriptions made my ears bleed a little.  Cool shot of Rachel wheeling out the blocks, though.

Bonus - Yay! Bonus Game is back! :-D  Did anyone notice that the paint was peeling a bit on the arrow things?  See for yourself. (http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q221/swampscreenie/bonuspeel.png)

SCSD#1 - Ouch!

PA# - That was a tough-ish setup considering how cheap the spa was.

Grandy - I like how Drew said that listening to the family is "one of the worst things you can do."  :-P

THAT'S TOO MUCH! I was told to stop - Now that was downright impossible.

SHOWCASES
$17,000
$23,500

SC1 looked like it was hastily written during Lillian's bonus spin!  How many of those Nascar racing games do they have?

OVERALL - I liked Drew's hosting today.  It was a definite plus to see Adam trot out Bonus Game.  And a car game sixth, too!

As happy as I was to see Bonus Game, it looks awful in high-def.  And it's not just the butt-ugly color scheme.  The paint peeling, the faux-crackle on the sides, it just looks bad from start to finish.  If they want to continue playing this game (and I pray that they do), they need to simplify its design.

The snafu put a damper on the triumphant return of Bonus Game. Looked good in its old reveal. The fact nobody got Drew's attention today about the mix up shows how the Double Prices debacle probably happened. Quite a lack of teamwork and/or fear of Drew at work there. Shame. He seemed to know things were amiss today, and that was good. Drew was trying.

Enjoyed the line up - did not enjoy price 2 being correct in That's Too Much again. And I agree with Steve on the cue in Easy as 123 today.

Grand Game

1. Did anyone notice I think for the 1st time since season 36, the neon borders were green during Grandy Game
2. Did anyone notice that on the Grand Game WIN, the neon borders around the big doors went into their color cycles, the inner and outer door lights began chasing, the TT lights began chasing AND the audience lights began fading.... Talk about a LIGHT SHOW...

So???  By that rationale, any game not yet taken out of "mini-retirement" should be forever forgotten?

Ooh, no glasses. Going for the Jim Lange 1982 21 pilot no-glasses look, huh. Kinda difficult in my opinion because to me, Drew does not see too well without his glasses. I don't think I can now in an environment like that.

Money Game: I went for that look; it didn't work. It sounds like Catherine's daughter doesn't watch the game well enough, thinking that 20 could be the last two numbers. Then she was going to suggest 37; that wouldn't work either. Either they're doing the F-n-B or the B-n-F. They did the F-n-B.

Eazy az 123: I had a feeling the Apple would be worth over $3000. Britney probably thought so, too. Oh, the influence of the audience....

Bonus Game: Wow! SUPER ROTATION! Another rewind-and-watch-the-rotation-a-lot-more-times moment! Takes me back a few years ago when something like this happened. The way Drew handled the choices really threw me off. At least we all know how the game(s) work(s). If I was there, I probably would've made note of it similar to what I really done to another pricing game. Heck, I would've said lower too on the speakers. I hope (Brian and) I did not blow the game because of that last choice. [We] didn't.
Every time that "Fairfax" is mentioned, I sometimes wonder if Fairfax Ave is based on it.
Man, I think watching it in High Def would give the show and games more detail than seeing it in person. I think I need to invest in a high def television...

Pick-a-Number:
Okay, I have to let it out after a week.
When I was at the tapings, I try to follow directions from EVERYBODY so I won't end up being ineligible or allowed in the studio for (possibly) future tapings. I remembered from those tapings that Rich would tell us in his warm-up to [1] walk up the stage right (the usual) steps after winning the One Bid;
[2] run and play with our winning prizes if you want;
[3] stay with Drew after losing a game;
and a few others. From this episode alone, two of those suggestions were violated and one was enacted. I recalled a few people writing how lame (or similar negative words) it is for them to run to their prizes if they win it. If I was a contestant, I would follow every rule given to me. If they tell me to check out my prize, I'll do it. If they tell me to stay with Drew after I lose, I'll stay. Besides, I think it's lame to walk away from the host after a loss in the first place. I think all the excitement of being on the show does kinda make you forget that, which is understandable.

Grand Game: For the Lenten season, we're going to add another form of grocery product: Fish.
I kinda understand now about Drew's "libertarianism" thingy. The meat and fish and the foreign cars are here now. Please correct me if am wrong.

That's Too Much!: The second price? That's really putting emphasis on the title with the other prices.
I'll add a little story about Drew's Mini in my upcoming trip report.

Showcases: That's it? Just a game, trip and $1500? I would agree to go low. For the second Showcase, as soon as I saw the Seattle's Best coffee and then the trip, where else?

Let it be known, I most certainly give Drew the benefit of the doubt. I'm more surprised that the producers didn't give Drew a quick review of how the game works.

Nick, no hard feelings. Sometimes we have to laugh at ourselves and not take ourselves too seriously.

whammy_2000 -> Am I missing something, or do you really not know Drew's frames are fake?

BigJon -> I think we've seen that on the Big Wheel too, my theory is that it pretty much accompanies any clang-whoop that goes off. (additionally: $1000 Big Wheel wins)

sideshow -> I agree with Willy here... how does one make Bonus Game simpler than it is?

Money Game:  Pretty good job!
Eazy Az 123:  Since the audience cost Britney the prizes, I think the audience should take up a collection and buy Britney those prizes.
Bonus Game:  Nice job! :-)  Drew could've hosted this a lot better, though.
Pick A Number:  Rats! :-(
Grand Game:  Good job! :-)  I'm glad to see the green $10,000 graphic again! :-)
That's Too Much:  I can name that tune in 2 notes:  forced loss. :-(

Prett ygood show overall, IMHO.

Well, it's true. Drew's had Lasik surgery on his eyes... but he still decided to have those frames just 'cause he looks pretty damn handsome with them on.

I've seen Bonus Game for the first time in HD, now I know why there is complaining. Reminds me of the 3 Strikes chips with the X's on them. They looked pretty old. I wonder why they don't fix up the board, especially when last season part of the prop also fell down.

Pretty good show today, some nice wins and great contestants. It seems when you look over the set changes, the show really is starting to look more like a Bob type of show. (Minus a few people)

...especially when last season part of the prop also fell down.

When did that happen?  The only thing I can recall that remotely involved part of the prop coming off was when Drew broke one of the sliders' tabs off.  The tabs were replaced with new, larger ones for the next playing.

Draw something up that in your mind "simplifies" it.  Remember that this game will be used by the same man who forked up Double Prices.

I could spend all day trying to draw something on a computer (not happening) or I can just list what I mean.

1.  First, smooth out the outside shell of the game.
2.  Next, Change the color scheme from blue and pink to something that doesn't burn my retinas when I watch my TV.
3.  Finally, if Drew insists on putting the prizes back in their homes, then make it so that the asterisks light when a small prize is guessed correctly.

I suppose I didn't mean "design" here so much as I meant "look".

For you extreme Price Music Buffs, did you notice after the money game win, after the 1st iteration of the theme "A", instead of using iteration "B", it repeated "A" again.... the typical listener wouldnt notice it, but its real evident with the bass line repeating.. </end music buffness>

The way I see it, mean-spirited, cheating or none of the above ... in all probability, the car was not meant to be won today. And it wasn't.

Well other than Money Game showing up first yet AGAIN this was a pretty solid lineup, esp. with Bonus Game making its long overdue return.

Speaking of Bonus Game--whoo hoo we got the Bonus Game reveal back!!!!! THANK YOU R. Brian DiPirro, you are the man!

Also, Speaking of Bonus, Drew screwed that up didn't he?  Maybe this happened because the game hadn't been played in so long, I don't know.I will say Drew did host this a lot betterk (other than sliding the correct prizes back into their original slots) this time out than in previous times so that was a big plus Hopefully, this won't happen again next time out.

Pick-a-Number again!! 8-)
