Why does it seem like there are so many folks in contestant's row who mistakenly think that they have the winning bid, like on today's show? I've been noticing this for quite a while now. I can't identify anything that Drew is doing differently than Bob did, so it must be something else. Any ideas?
Why does it seem like there are so many folks in contestant's row who mistakenly think that they have the winning bid, like on today's show? I've been noticing this for quite a while now. I can't identify anything that Drew is doing differently than Bob did, so it must be something else. Any ideas?I’ve noticed this trend as well and I think I’ve figured it out. When Drew sees the ARP, if he notices that a contestant has just overbid on a price, he looks directly at that player as his voice inflected differently than usual. Then he looks to find who actually won the prize. By this point, the contestant who Drew looked at first thinks that they won because it’s so loud and Drew is looking directly at them so they begin to come up on stage.
