Welcome to Episode 18 of Jordanar18's Price is Right! This is the first time one of my shows will have a theme, and the theme of this show is Season 35. All prizes and prices will be from Season 35 (think 2006-2007). There will be many other surprises along the way as well. Here are my rules:
1. The time limit is 24 hours.
2. If you miss your deadline, you can still play as long as it is still your turn. However, if someone else responds before you respond, you are disqualified for that round.
3. If you miss your turn during an Item Up for Bids, you get a warning; however, you must PM me that you are still in the game. Otherwise, I will call two contestants in the next bidding round, and you are out.
4. If you miss your turn during a pricing game or the SCSD, you are automatically out. In a pricing game, the person with the next-best one bid will take over.
The show will start sometime this Sunday. Good luck, and sign up!

Ford Mustangs were virtually impossible to win in Season 35, since most contestants were convinced it was more expensive than it actually was. Five Price Tags, Temptation, Pathfinder, One Away, and That's Too Much! all went winless in Season 35 when played for Mustangs.

Now, I have a Jordan Dollar in my hand. Believe me, I do. And over there by Phire, in that bag marked "Piano", is a Jordan Dollar for each dollar in the price of the piano. For some reason though, it's not that heavy. In a moment, she will place the bag on that end of the scale.

Now, the object of the game is for you to put the correct bags on the scale that will balance out the price of the piano. I will be very generous and tell you that 9, 8, and 5 are the last three numbers in the price, and so I will place this smallest bag on the scale.

I've been obsessed with trying to make hard playings of games ever since my first show. Out of my first 8 shows, 4 were 5-out-of-6 (including the first two shows), along with one perfect show. If you don't believe me, see this show (http://www.golden-road.net/index.php/topic,755.0.html).
More or Less: This worked out exactly the way I intended it to. I wanted the player to get to the Mustang to see if they knew better than the contestants from season 35, who thought that Mustang coupes were cheap. So, I made the first three prizes easy.
Balance Game: I knew I wanted to make the right price the most expensive option, since I can't imagine an upright piano being more than $8,000.
Hit Me: I really didn't know how this one was going to turn out. After Bob made the comment about the setup, I wanted it won, and I was relieved to see that the first card was a 6. There were really two tangible options for the 10 - the cookies and the sleep aid (which was actually $9.95, making it a 6), and the syrup and aspirin were pretty cheap, making them the candidates for the ace. Like I said, Guy got really unlucky.
One Away: I expected this to be won. My original setup was 28822, which would have been a piece of cake. I really thought 1 was the obvious choice for the last number.
BBB: Expensive fireplace + cheap motorscooter = Loss.
Joker: The only reason I made card 5 the Joker was so that I could go on my rant about the sound effect. :-P
The original second half lineup was BBB, Pathfinder, and Push Over, but I decided that was too boring with two quickies in there. Plus -- I've never played Joker, and when else am I going to play it? :-P
