Second IUFB: His-and-her watches (Tissot; ARP: $950) (Amber)
Shantra is playing 1 Right Price.
Total ARP: $3,495 Seriously?! Budget mode has really gotten ridiculous. |

Third IUFB: Collection of small appliances (Zojirushi; 2 rice cookers, coffee maker, electric kettle and bread maker; ARP: $850) (Manuela)
Julia, from Port Hueneme in Ventura County (Drew thought he heard "Fort" at first...honestly, so did I -K), is playing Push Over for a living room group (Ashley Enclave Sea Foam; Sofa, loveseat, chair+ottoman, coffee table, side tables) and a waterproof 42" LCD HDTV. (Pantel) (Lanisha)

It pains me to put LOSS on $5,000, but it wasn't the car, and she didn't leave any chances behind, so it's a LOSS. |

Sixth IUFB: Flowers for a year (1-800-Flowers.com; One per month; ARP: $900) (Manuela and Lanisha on The Price is Right Train)
Ronald is playing Danger Price. The Danger Price is $2,100.

Mega Lonestar failure today.
One of the worst shows of the season.
"Roger, this puts us at how many 'Worst shows of the season?'"
Can we get an eggcrate toteboard for this number?
Well...as a fan of all genres of music and a fan of Lonestar throughout my childhood, I have to say that band just isn't the same without Rich McDonald as lead singer. When I think of Lonestar, I hear Rich McDonald at the helm. This Keith Urban lookalike that they have as lead singer now just isn't the same by any stretch of the imagination. Maybe I'm just stuck in 1995 or something. :-)
Tyler
Yeah I did notice that. I knew I heard rumors McDonald had left, because the band doesn't sound the same. McDonald had the great voice.

Nice to see Pass The Buck again (one of my faves). And with Lonestar at Door #3,regular viewersG-R.net members should have had no problem figuring out where the Range Game prize was going to be.
Regular viewers, we are not.
Um...Lonestar was pointless. Hearing any band play the show's theme is cool, but why have them play the theme when Walking is normally played? Why not have them play a version of Walking? Plus, they were so...inconsistent on where they were used. I thought it was very unnecessary, but if they're gonna do this crap, at least execute it properly.
And so you all know, Lonestar ASKED to be on the show themselves, and here they get a free 1-hour promo. We may have more bands asking to do this in the future.

You know it's so funny to hear some complain about price having a house band for a day when Wheel has had many bands, mostly marching bands, come in to play yet none of you have ever complained.
I guess this episode was pretty good. But in my own opinion, having to play quickies for half of the six games doesn't usually add up to a good episode.
THE CONTESTANTS ARE THE HEART OF THE SHOW.
The sad part about all of this is that Drew, at some point in the show, stated that this was his "favorite day since he's been on the show," or something to that effect. It's pretty clear that Drew doesn't "get it."
Wheel of Fortune isn't as consistent as The Price Is Right on anything, though -- they don't even always have the same set from week to week. Nobody gives it a second thought when they change something.

It's pretty clear that Drew doesn't "get it."I think he said it was "one of" his favorites. While I think Drew likes stuff like guests bands more than other people do, I also think his comment was in part an effort to be a good hosts to his guests. The lead singer looked so forlorn; you'd think Drew would want to make them feel like A-listers.
Hey CBS, go ahead and cancel the show. It is sick and should be put out of its misery. If the show were a dog, it would have been put down by now. It's the end of the season; just pull the plug if Fremantle is going to produce crap like today's show.
Wow. I wouldn't go that far. It was just a band. I'm not 100% crazy about it...Unless it was a band I enjoyed, then I'd be all over it. But its cool they try new things and try to keep the show fresh.
(But if it did go away for a few years it would open the door to reruns on GSN. Just saying.)
