That Roo hurt me inside, if only because it was actually played right for once.

I think this was the winning combo for Pay the Rent:

Crackers 3.29

Bandaids 3.99 Corn 2.29 (6.28)

Vitamin Water 1.29 Egg Rolls 6.99 (8.28)

Shampoo 8.99

Recap posted.

I don't think I've ever seen such a heartbreaking Switcheroo loss in my life. That literally stunk.

See you guys in 1 hour, 43 minutes.

For me, I walk with three right in Switcheroo. Too much of a gamble, and this was a perfect example.

I get it … the contestant was going for the kill and did what she felt needed to do (of which I can’t blame her), but how heartbreaking this surely was when it didn’t pay off.

Today’s Switcheroo was the first case of the audience helping to “snatch defeat from the jaws of victory” that I’ve seen since we got an audience back. Her friend in the audience was passionately campaigning for her to switch the 2 for the 1, which actually isn’t unreasonable, but the results were heartbreaking.

Agreed on the Switcheroo pain. As soon as she went from 3 right to 1 right, it was obvious what happened.

I think this was the winning combo for Pay the Rent:

Crackers 3.29

Bandaids 3.99 Corn 2.29 (6.28)

Vitamin Water 1.29 Egg Rolls 6.99 (8.28)

Shampoo 8.99

There were actually 3 solutions to PtR today, including the one you mentioned:

Corn (2.29) < Crackers + Bandages (3.29 + 3.99 = 7.28) < Beverage + Egg Rolls (1.29 + 6.99 = 8.28) < Shampoo (8.99)
Crackers (3.29) < Corn + Bandages (2.29 + 3.99 = 6.28) < Beverage + Egg Rolls (1.29 + 6.99 = 8.28) < Shampoo (8.99)
Bandages (3.99) < Corn + Crackers (2.29 + 3.29 = 5.58) < Beverage + Egg Rolls (1.29 + 6.99 = 8.28) < Shampoo (8.99)

I dare say if I ever got on the show and played Switcheroo and got 3 right on my first try, I would stop!  Easy for me to say, easy to be an armchair quarterback I know but still, 3 right on the first try is somewhat rare!

They always put the ugliest digit for the car in Switcheroo, don't they?

Just saw this one.

I see they got rid of the 3rd stand in 1RP.  I actually liked that better than having 2 models awkwardly holding the one right price.

And, yes in Switcheroo, if you get 3 right you stop.  Too bad.
