Don’t need TinoStar for this one, $547 is definitely the lowest nonzero win in Time Is Money history.

Hey, it’s $547 more than he walked into the Bob Barker Studio with.

I’m just waiting for that TIM win where someone wins less than $10. Hey, it could happen.

Brian

The money clock has a refresh rate that deducts about $31 every time it changes, so most playings it's impossible to win that little.

It's still technically possible (http://www.golden-road.net/index.php/topic,27515.msg475328.html#msg475328) to win $8 if the clock starts on one particular cycle, though.

EDIT: Huh, $547 doesn't seem to match any of those patterns. Curious. Maybe worth taking a look later to verify why.

EDIT EDIT: Duh. There must be a fourth pattern that goes $47-$16-$0 that I originally missed. That would complete the sequence from $32-$0/$24-$0/$16-$0/$8-0. (It also reveals how desperately I am looking for a distraction to avoid doing real work right now.)

Assuming the button is not wired to the actual clock how do they account for the split seconds of the button being hit and someone manually stopping the timer?

Did a frame by frame review of 5-6 playings a few months ago; it showed there was no delay at all between hitting the button and the clock stopping.

I assume there's somebody backstage that flips a switch after the last correct item is placed letting the computer know to stop the clock when the button is pressed. But the button definitely seems like it's actually connected to the clock.

Just a brutal loss on Pathfinder. Happy someone got that far though!

Pathfinder continues its 11 playing losing streak - the last time it was won was April 2, 2019.

This was as tough a setup as ever with the typical starting choices and 5/9 at the end.

While playing along at home, I would've won TIM immediately. I for one thought it was a very easy setup.

Yes, bump, I know, but I've deduced that the setup for Any # was $21,463/$857/$9.02. I'm working on analysis on some games, and that unknown playing irritated me, so I deduced the price.

Here's my work:
-A 11/14/2019 One Bid and 1/28/2020 Line playing revealed the price of the drivers, light, and bag to be $579. There was video of these items on YouTube, and I confirmed everything was the same, barring the cart.

-However, I need to figure out the price of the cart. A 2/7/2020 One Bid revealed that 3 DeWalt nailers, a stapler, and a Homak tool cart worth $1674. The cart in this playing was also a Homak cart.

-A 3/9/2020 One Bid revealed the 3 nailers and stapler to be worth $1376. Subtracting the two reveals the price of the cart to $278.

-$278+$579 = $857, and from there, the only number remaining for the piggy bank is the 2.
