There is a scale model "Big Wheel" on Etsy. Has anyone here purchased this?
It looks so awesome and I've always wanted something like this. It looks like it has good reviews. I'd love to hear if you have one and what you think.

Here's the listing:

I bought it about a month ago off ebay they 3d print it. Its probably not worth the price (I paid 139.00 for it) it doesn't light up or make any sounds. I like it and don't regret buying it my family and friends thought it was cute.
-
I don't mind the price point. I've never seen anything that looks as good as this. As long as it spins well and looks as good in person as it does in the photos. It looks like it's pretty big, for a miniature.

It looks awesome. Gotta love when they put Price stuff like that out on the market.
BTW, has anyone ever owned a MB Price is Right home game? I remember getting it for My 9th birthday.
-
When I was a trainer at a call centre 8yrs ago one of my reps brought me the MB TPiR board game as a surprise because they knew how much I loved Price. Still have it stored away with my Endless Games editions.
-
Now they have pathfinder on Etsy. They did had the logo but it sold out.

I decided to go ahead and purchase the wheel and it is worth every penny! It is amazing! I've wanted a wheel like this my whole life.
Reloaden: What do you mean by "they did had the logo?"
I checked out the Pathfinder game and that looks great too.
It makes me wonder, what other games would you like to see recreated? My favorite game is Cliff Hangers. I would always root for the yodeler to fall off. Without the Yodeling, I'm not sure it would be the same though.
-
That Pathfinder game looks pretty cool actually. I might buy the wheel if it was a little bigger and didn't have art that was ripped from CJBojangles and the wiki page.

Someone was selling the Current logo they made and it lights up.
I am glad to see Game Show pieces pop up.

The art is what it is. It's the art from the show. The 3d print wheel is an impressive feat of engineering. They even accounted for the gap in the arrow wall where you can see the amount through the arrow wall. I think the size is perfect. Any bigger and it would be too big in my opinion, but everyone has their own tastes/desires.

Lots of new games are listed on Etsy!
Cover Up
Switcheroo
Blank Check
3 Strikes
The Doors in the background from a lot of different eras
Also the Wheel has new options from 1978 and 1989 for the side walls
Anything else I forgot?

As a kid, absolutely!
-
The "Retro" 3 Strikes game looks fantastic! I wish the "3 Strikes" on top of the board was in the font featured on the TV show though, as the numbers on the blocks are.
-
All amazing!
-
Even though I will be 57 by Christmas 2023, I asked "Wife" Claus to get me the wheel for Christmas.
I would so love to add all the other stuff eventually as well though!
-
You can now follow the Etsy store on Facebook so you can receive updates when new items are available. Google search: Facebook AandM3DPrints and <click> MAK’N Games - Facebook (I can't post links)

Got one for myself, and one to give away as a late Christmas present!

I had shown some interest in purchasing the Showcase Showdown wheel. I mentioned it in passing to my wife as a possible Christmas gift.
What she discovered was the prices shown were misleading.
The one price she saw was just for one portion of the Showcase Showdown "set", and that there was an individual cost for each individual component. That sadly was not made too clear and as such, I told her to forget about that.
While I was remiss in taking better care of reading the "fine print", I found it disheartening that the "price" shown was not for the entire set up.
Maybe some day later in life I'll reconsider purchasing these items, but I feel somewhat reluctant doing so now because of how misleading the price shown was. So a word to the wise, if you're looking to make purchases of these items, really take the time to read over all the fine print to avoid being disappointed or feeling mislead, unintentional though I'm sure it was.

So what is the price?

From the description:
The wheel is one piece and takes 24 continuous hours to print. The structure is custom-printed at the time of the order.
A "Lite Version" ($139.99) includes the wheel, base, arrow, and 2 walls. The "Lite Version" has a smaller base, and does not include the front walls, only the walls to support the wheel. All of the graphics are the same on either version.
A "Set" ($169.99) includes the wheel, base, arrow, and 4 walls. The scoreboard is a graphic and is non-functional.
A "Deluxe Set" ($199.99) includes the wheel, base, arrow, 4 walls, and the scoreboard tiles.
The version is selected from a dropdown menu, where the “lite” version is the default. A “lite” version can be upgraded with “walls” on either side of the wheel purchased separately for $40-$50.
Personally, the wheel is too rich for my blood, but I did get two customized Switcheroo games for $70 each I’m happy with.

well, that's not something i expected to see today

What a great picture! So nice to finally put a face to the name too.
I find it endearing that George gives a shout out to his mom at the start of every episode.
I remember he said he had stopped doing so and everybody was upset thinking that his mom had passed away.
While nobody will ever be as legendary as Johnny Olsen, or perhaps as vivacious as Rod Roddy, George Grey has done a sensational job announcing and I really love how Drew makes sure he acknowledges all of the models and George on every episode. Of all the current hosts on game shows both syndicated and network, Drew is tops with me now. Bob will always be the very best, but Drew, even after 16 plus years on the show, still makes the show seem fresher and newer somehow.
-
That's a nice photo of George and his mom (beautiful Christmas tree too) and really awesome that he purchased the big wheel replica for her.
Here's some of the newer games available:

Looks great! Of course the first thing I noticed is that one of the 9s on the right Any Number should be a 6. :-)

I put in a request for my game, and it's now available!
Ladies and gentlemen, Push Over!

Push Over looks great. Another one I'll purchase eventually.
I still need Cover Up, Cliffhangers, Pathfinder, and Range Game.
I'd love to get the turntable (1982-1992 with green floor and outer edge), but I think it's too small to work with the full size playable games, the wheel, and the doors. Seems like it's only made to be used with the mini non playable games.
I'd also like to see some of the non playable mini games advance to becoming full size playable games. (Bullseye, Clock Game, Bonus Game, Squeeze Play, Big Money Game)
-
New Games: Hole in One, Bonkers, Lucky $even, Check Game!

Plinko Chip (https://www.etsy.com/listing/1697364360/price-is-right-plinko-chips) replicas are now available starting at $25 per.
-
Pardon me for asking this if it is common knowledge, but what is the size difference between these awesome replica chips and the ones they use on the show?
Thanks!
R.
