For crying out loud, don't make bids of $420 or $69. It's been done hundreds of times already. It's not funny anymore.
Oops.
-
What's the big deal about bidding $69 or $420?
-
Well, it shouldn't be that big of a deal, especially for someone his age; it's rather immature if you ask me. But if you want a G-rated explanation, check out the Recap section for that day's show.

I checked it out, and the best I can come up with is that $69 is either about sex or marijuna. I don't understand how it relates though. To me, it is the same as if he said any other number.

Ok, hmm, 69 is sexual and 420 refers to marijauna. I think that's about as much as we can say here. But it really isn't the same as any other number. Both have distinct relations to the items to which they refer. If you're really interested in knowing, try a Google search or something like that...and no, I'm really not trying to be a smart aleck.

Totally agree with Drew. If you're not laughing somethings wrong with you. His bid of $69 was funny especially after you find out what is occupation is. Also, for those who have a problem with the $69 and $420 bids, I couldn't help but notice the price of the car ended in 420. Awesome! yeah son yeah son.

I have to admit that when I saw this when it aired I didn't get the joke. I looked it up on Wikipedia(because Googleing it would have resulted in some bad sites) and let me just say that that was an immiture bid. As for me not getting it- I'm sorry, but I try to live a rated-G lifestyle. I'm glad my younger cousins weren't watching this with me, as I know they would question me about it. Still, I didn't find this very funny(except for Drew's laugh- that's always funny!).

I agree with you, Plinkoman. Drew saved what would have been an otherwise obnoxious moment.
