GEORGE: It's four dirt bikes! (Rachel and Gwendolyn model them) (Rocket in My Pocket) (applause) These 250-cc street-legal dirt bikes come with a durable aluminum frame, plus four-speed transmission, chain-driven rear brakes and all-terrain tires.

That's a lot of dirt bikes, you know. And Bandon23, here's the game you're going to play, called Bonkers.

6453

If you believe the first number is higher than 6, you will put this paddle above it, and if you think it's lower, you put the paddle below it. Do the same thing with the other three paddles, and then come back here and hit this button. (hits button)

BUZZ!

That sound means you have to try again. Rearrange the paddles, then hit the button again. (does so once more)

DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING!

And if you hear that sound, it means you've won! Now, I will give you five chances to give me the correct solution. Remember, type in H for higher and L for lower in trying to figure out each number. Ready? On your mark, get set, GO!!!

(Bonkers timer cue)

(Walking 2007)

(cheers and applause)

Welcome to the stage again, AMGray1986! Now I have something that I'm sure you will love to have. Tell us what it is, George?

GEORGE: Well AMGray1986, we haven't given away one of these prizes yet, and it happens to be...A NEW SUV! (Rachel models it) (Truck/Van Cue) (cheers and applause) It's the 2015 GMC Terrain. This FWD crossover comes with a 2.4-liter engine, 6-speed automatic transmission, AM/FM/CD stereo with SiriusXM Satellite Radio and MP3 jack, rear backup camera, cargo net and engine block heater. This is the GMC Terrain!

And you're going to play a game called Pocket ¢hange for that SUV! There are five numbers in the price of the SUV, and I will start you off with the first number in the price. It is...

135795
2----

DING!

...2. And here's a 25¢ card for you to have. Now you see that sign over by the SUV?

25¢

That's the selling price at Crazy Rachel's Car Lot. Hey Rachel, it would be crazy to sell a new car for a quarter, wouldn't it?

RACHEL: Yes, crazy indeed.

Now here's how you figure out the price: One at a time, you will guess numbers in the price, and every time you're right, you will select cards off the board by picking a number from 1 to 20. At the end of the game, if you have enough pocket change to buy the SUV, you win. And the reason why I'm saying this is, these cards are very important, because every time you're wrong, Crazy Rachel will raise the selling price by 25¢. Now what do you think is the second number in the price?

Very well then, we shall find out how much pocket change you've collected for yourself. Let's start you off with 25¢.

.25

DING!

Now, in the first envelope, you've collected...

25¢

...a quarter, so you've doubled your change already.

.50

DING!

(applause)

50¢, and now you need $1.50 more to win the car. In the next envelope, we find...

10¢

...a dime. Up to 60¢.

.60

DING!

Now we just need $1.40 more. And in this envelope...hey, you just picked up another 50¢!

50¢

1.10

DING!

$1.10 is what you have now, so you need just 90¢ to buy the car. And the only thing that can help you now is if this last envelope has $2, because not even 75¢ will do. Fingers crossed, everybody, here we go! 1, 2, 3...we need the $2!

1.15

MRRRRRRRRP!/Losing Horns

(audience groans)

But instead, we get one miserable nickel. AMGray1986, I'm sorry it didn't work out here, but hopefully it will in the Showcase Showdown.

We'll be back to spin the Big Wheel after this.

It's time to spin the Big Wheel with AMGray1986, wpghi5 and Bandon23! In a moment, we will find out which one of them will be in the Showcase at the end of the show...

SPINNING ORDER:
AMGray1986 ($1,545)
wpghi5 ($7,089)
Bandon23 ($11,474)

...but first things first: Please give me three numbers from 1 to 20 (two regular, one Bonus Spin/Spin-Off), and your minimum stopping score. Good luck to all three of you!

Title: Re: Teddy's TPIR, Episode 23: SCSD1
Post by: Teddy on May 29, 2015, 12:45:21 PM
And first up is AMGray1986.

(wheel beeps)

Contestant nearest to one dollar without going over will be in the Showcase at the end of the show. And I believe that the first spin is going to be worth...

30

...30 cents, and I believe that you will spin again.

(wheel beeps)

Now if you get 70, we will give you $1,000 and a Bonus Spin. 70 is all you need...75 is too much, 55 might be good, get off that 95!

95

MRRRRRRRRP!

(audience groans)

Well, it's just not your day, AMGray1986, because you've gone over. Better luck next time. Spin that Wheel, wpghi5!

(wheel beeps)

Let's see what your first spin is going to be worth. Could it be a big number? Like 95...STOP RIGHT THERE!!!

50

(audience groans)

50 is what you have, and I think you will spin again, although you really don't have to.

(wheel beeps)

If you get that 50 again, you'll get that Bonus Spin. And I think you might have that 50...NOW STOP!!!

85

MRRRRRRRRP!

(audience groans)

But you, too, are over, and I'm sorry. I hope you had fun, though, and we'll definitely see you again. Now Bandon23, as they both went over, you are automatically in the Showcase. Here's what's going to happen: You will get one spin to see if you can hit the dollar.

(wheel beeps)

Around and around it goes, and I think it's going to try to get down here. One more...JUST ONE MORE...OH!!!

5

(audience groans)

.05

In between the two big numbers, don't you hate that? Well Bandon23, you just made history as the lowest-scoring contestant ever to move on to the Showcase!

(Dig We Must 2007)

Bandon23 goes to the Showcase with a nickel in an historic Showcase Showdown! How amazing is that? You don't see that happen often. Meanwhile, if you want tickets to the show and possibly get a chance to come on down and win some prizes, all you have to do is go to priceisright.com (http://www.priceisright.com). That's priceisright.com. We have some more pricing games to play, and lots more prizes to give away, so stay right there. It's all coming up on the other side of this break.

Go with the V8. I GUARANTEE you that it is less than $6, as that was a grocery item I had to price when I played Hurdles in the last game.

This is it, all or nothing. And hopefully, you will have $10,000 in your pocket. You say today really is your birthday?

PRICEBOI1983: Yes, it is.

And you really could use that $10,000 on your birthday?

PRICEBOI1983: I really could use it, yes.

Well, you know if you're wrong, you will lose it all, and we wouldn't want that to happen today, would we?

PRICEBOI1983: Just show me the price already!

And so I shall do it. 1, 2, 3...

$3.15

CLANG-CLANG-CLANG-WHOOP-WHOOP-WHOOP!

(wild cheers and applause)

(TPIR Theme 2007)

$10,000

Happy Birthday! You got your gift of $10,000, congratulations! Now let's see the other two prices. The lotion was...

$6.89

...$6.89, and the shampoo was...

$6.19

...$6.19. And you could win even more money on the Big Wheel! Showcase Showdown after this.

Well folks, it's time to spin the Wheel again, and see who will be in the Showcase! Will it be Cool Steve, Priceboi1983 or JustBecause?

SPINNING ORDER:
Cool Steve ($8,334)
Priceboi1983 ($11,535)
JustBecause ($27,619)

We'll find out after these three players give me three numbers each from 1 to 20 and their minimum stopping scores.

I will stop at 80 or whatever beats or ties the leader

Title: Re: Teddy's TPIR, Episode 23: SCSD2
Post by: Teddy on June 03, 2015, 12:55:39 PM
And the spinning starts with Cool Steve!

(wheel beeps)

Contestant nearest to a dollar without going over will be in the Showcase at the end of the show. And it looks like the first spin of the second Showcase Showdown is going to be worth...

60

...60 cents, and I think you would like to spin again.

(wheel beeps)

Now don't get anything over 40. As long as you get 40 or less, you're fine. But it looks like trouble...

55

MRRRRRRRRP!

...and it is, because you went over. Thanks for playing. Now it's Priceboi1983's turn to spin.

(wheel beeps)

He already won $10,000 on his birthday, but he's looking to add more. And it looks like he will end up with...

55

...55 cents, and he'll spin again.

(wheel beeps)

JustBecause, if he goes over, you will be in the Showcase at the end of the show. As for you, Priceboi1983, your second spin will be worth...stop on 15...go on to 35...

80

MRRRRRRRRP!

(audience groans)

...but over you go, and it was fun having you on the show. Spend your money wisely. Now JustBecause, you are automatically in the Showcase, and you will get one spin to see if you can get the dollar. Go for it!

(wheel beeps)

Here it comes, there it goes...and I think that's going to be it for you.

It's Showcase time here on The Price is Right! JustBecause is our Top Winner, and Bandon23 is our Runner-Up. Now, let's take a look at the first Showcase.

(Starcrossed)

GEORGE: This Showcase features prizes revealed as we take a look into the life of the busy suburban housewife. And we all know she's sure to be busy at home, especially when she's making all of your favorite meals with these kitchen appliances! (Rachel models them) (applause)

Furnish your kitchen with these great Kenmore appliances, which include an all-electric range, side-by-side refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher, all finished in fine stainless steel. Next, she needs lots of rest and relaxation after all that work around the house, so we're giving her this fabulous bedroom group! (Gwendolyn models it) (applause)

From the Ashley Companies, this bedroom features a chest, bureau and nightstand finished in fine polished oak. And this bed features an innovative mattress from Sleep Number. Now you can set the bed to the number you want for an ideal sleep experience. And finally, when the housewife is going out to take on the day, she needs something to take her merchandise, groceries and such in, like this new car! (Rachel models it) (cheers and applause)

It's the 2015 Chevrolet Sonic LT sedan. Comes with standard features, plus 1.8-liter engine, 6-speed automatic transmission, AM/FM stereo with SiriusXM Satellite Radio and MP3 jack, cargo net and engine block heater. So it's kitchen appliances, a bedroom group, and a new car. You will be living the comfortable suburban life, but only if the price is right!

Now JustBecause, here's the question for you: Are you going to bid on this Showcase, or are you going to pass it to Bandon23?

Now JustBecause, take a look at your Showcase!

(Showcase 2007)

GEORGE: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the husbands of our models, David Dellucci and Kenny Smith!

KENNY: Thank you, George! Back in the day, I used to play point guard for the Houston Rockets, winning two championships with the team, and now I'm an analyst on TV.

DAVID: Hold that thought, Kenny! That would be our first prize, a new 3-D HDTV! (applause)

GEORGE: With stunning 3D graphics and cinema-quality surround sound, this 48-inch Panasonic 3D HDTV makes for the perfect 21st-century viewing experience. Two pairs of 3D glasses are included!

DAVID: Now Kenny, you know how hard it is being married to a Price is Right model.

KENNY: Yes, David. I mean, between work and the kids, we both lead hectic lives and just want to get away from the swing of things.

DAVID: Funny you should mention that. I used to swing baseball bats for a living, but for fun, I just swing these new golf clubs! (applause)

GEORGE: Hit the links with these durable Taylor Made golf clubs, which include a complete set of irons, woods, wedges, plus a driver and putter, all in a lightweight carrying case.

DAVID: Well, you can't just play golf anywhere. Sometimes you need to test your skills on one of the world's best courses.

KENNY: Which is why we're sending you on a trip to Pebble Beach! (cheers and applause)

GEORGE: You and a guest will fly round-trip coach from Los Angeles to Monterey, California, then drive in your rental car to Pebble Beach, where you'll enjoy a six-night stay at a luxury hotel located near the famous Pebble Beach golf course, and offering spectacular views of the coast. Daily breakfast and one round of golf included.

DAVID: And finally, it's time to cruise the open road with something every man should enjoy having.

KENNY: It's this new Lincoln MKX! (Grandeur) (cheers and applause)

GEORGE: It's the 2015 Lincoln MKX FWD, featuring a 3.7-liter V6 engine, 6-speed automatic overdrive transmission, AM/FM/CD stereo with SiriusXM Satellite Radio and MP3 jack, power rear lift gate, cargo net and engine block heater.

DAVID: So you have a 3-D HDTV, followed by golf clubs...

KENNY: ...a trip to Pebble Beach and a new SUV.

DAVID: And it's all yours if the price is right!

Thank you, guys! Give it up for David Dellucci, aka Mr. Rachel Reynolds, and Kenny Smith, aka Mr. Gwendolyn Osborne-Smith! Now JustBecause, I want your bid on this Showcase.
