Last two days have actually been pretty good - the only super hard, unacceptable setup between those days has been Buck (where I knew that Alka-Seltzer was coming eventually, god damn). Still...

-...8000 in Push, with no 5xxx, 6xxx, 7xxx, 9xxx?? And then 3503 of stuff is set up to be lost in Switch? That was just plain backwards. And if there's such a thing as a setup too easy, that was it.
-T2 was so annoying... I know it was super easy for me because -93 was easy to split up into -95 and -98, and I knew pool table + shoes was the likely second pick, but god... you have it, then why change? Why why why.
-Bit interesting to see X on top after two easy SPs. Except she blew one.
-I don't think the quickie 1-2 deal worked today with Pocket following. I understand it works better with the new Act I, but it still makes such an awkward lineup down the road. I would have liked Push - Pocket - T2 - Switch - Buck - X or something.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

I would have liked Push - Pocket - T2 - Switch - Buck - X or something.

Just want to put my two cents in here, I would have liked to see Buck-Push-T2-X-Pocket-Switch, just to maximize slots, even though yes, Buck 1st could be a nightmare, but it's better than Today's :P

Pretty good show even with the losses; getting in a car game win for once helped.

Push Over was... well, I think you could have breathed on that setup and it would be pushed over. Though I do wonder how they got a trip to be exactly $8,000...

Switch?: That was a cheap set of prizes; only $3,503 total. Edward apparently did not catch the memo that HDTV prices are dropping (that, and the -04 ending works better on a set of accessories than a TV).

OB3: Anybody got a surfboard?  :P

Pocket Change: Excellently played! Getting the first two numbers without a mistake helped a ton (especially calling the 5 third instead of trying to save it for last) and even then only made one mistake in the last two. The cards were pretty much what they are on average.

OB4: Drew still can't forget the surfboard-level bid of last; good thing he grew a brain between then and here.

Take Two: I got this one right away with some knowledge of washer/dryer prices. It was pretty hard, though, as the combination was an unusual one, and as he thought he had won it for a moment, the math was deceptive.

Pass the Buck: Evil, like it has been of late.

OB6: Wow, when was the last time they aired an overbid? Feels like forever.

Secret "X": I'm not sure I want to say I'm glad this was lost, but considering it's been forced wins for most of this season, I am glad it was a losable setup today.

Push: Easiest setup of the season, IMHO.

S?: The intended win didn't happen in this PG.

PC: Well done, Tina, on playing this well to end the car game losing streak! I thought for sure the last envelope was going to have either $.75 or $2.

TT: Shame on you, audience, at the end.

PtB: Well, at least Nella didn't stick w/ her gut choice of #5, or she would've wiped out in this game. The only thing Mike didn't do to add to this hard playing was put the car symbol behind #1 again.

SX: Same fate as Pick-a-Pair earlier this week.

Showcases: I had a feeling Tina was over on the trip/boat Showcase, but not by that little; that definitely meant the Sentra wouldn't appear behind Door #3 at the end of this episode.

Good show today.

Well Today's show was fair but most of the setups were hard mainly switch and pass the buck.
pepe! It took us all summer to clean out all the skunk stink from seasons 36, 37, 38, 39, and 40!!!

If Pushover was lost, we would have needed the FBI to investigate that...rofl\

Switch was easy for anyone who has ever watched the show.  When in doubt, go with the "ends in 98, 99, or 00 rule" for TV's. Especially Non 3D ones.

Great win in Pocket Change.

What will it take for contestants to learn to follow their gut instinct, their 1st mind?

I didn't feel bad for the Pass The Buck Contestant at all.  Not after blowing both grocery item pairs.

How on earth did he think that grill kit was $88 in Secret X?

Nice showcase haul for Ashton.

Robair, I have some bad news for you...

Anyway, that had to be the ugliest first half I've ever seen. That Pushover set up was not only the easiest setup in the history of that game, but could arguably be the easiest setup in the history of The Price is Right. And then Switch? I'd be PO'd if I got up on stage and was offered THAT crap.

Also, maybe if the Showcases weren't so loaded, maybe the pricing games wouldn't be so crapped up...

Yeah, been a long time since I wrangled the html. Couldn't get it so sing despite using the templates.
But I was kind to the guy who bid $9000, though.

It's nice to know that Tina did great on Pocket Change...................Despite not being a perfect win, she really did get us out of yet another car PG losing streak.

Also, Push-Over was way, WAY too easy............Mike must really love to pull with contestants' strings, even when he made the Turks and Caicos trip approximately $8000. Thank God Jasmine got it, though.

Edward had it coming on Switch?.......................I didn't think that a HDTV was worth $2104........At least not a 51 inch one.

Tough break for Kenneth on Take Two...........I think the moment was when the audience really thought that he won but didn't, so the applause was a little premature. What also sucks is that Kenneth had it right with the pool table and the washer and dryer, but quickly changed his mind and chose the pool table and the accessories.

Ashton didn't do well on Secret X, but redeemed herself winning her showcase.

Could Push Over have been any easier?  I mean, WTF kind of a setup was that?

Could Switch have been any cheaper?

$9,000?!  Wow... it's been a while since we've seen that bid in CR.

A near-perfect game of Pocket Change by Tina.  I don't know how she nailed that 5 in the third position.

Argh... Kenneth had Take Two won, but he changed his mind.

My showcase bids:
:frbs: --$28,107
SUV--$31,107
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Wow, this show really was set up to be a whole lot more than a 2/6er. In fact, Pass The Buck was pretty much the only game on lockdown today, and even that can still be won with the free pick, so this was as best a shot at a perfect show we're going to have. It was disappointing to see some mind-changing in Take Two and bad SP pricing in Secret X ($88 for that tiny barbecue thing? really?) cost wins, but we've been having a fair amount of bad luck this week. This was definitely a very enjoyable show to watch straight through though - I've been enjoying the more "normal" feel of the show this week.

Oh, and there was a definite highlight in Pocket! What a wonderfully emphatic and well-deserved way to break our latest car loss "streak" (in airing order). That was a TOUGH price for the Nissan Sentra, as they were clearly banking on her underpricing the car and not thinking it was 19000, and she somehow avoided that and then the rest of the digits fell into place. Then she made the showcase and delivered a very good bid on a tough boat/Monte Carlo combo, that unfortunately was just a smidge over (I was afraid of that, but thought it had DSW potential as well). What a great contestant Tina was - certainly brightened up the week a bit!
