This is a lineup that mostly made sense at first. Even if X was a little soon, we needed something shorter to go with a longer car game and a GP/car. I thought Temptation made the most sense, but clearly I was on my own there. Then we got to the final two games. This lineup didn't need a casher. While Time was due for today, we already had had three cashers and were more due for a GP/car. Or any car for that matter with NCFAC Squeeze over any other car pick we had, that hurt some picks.
But let's stretch out our paws and check on the results:
Freeze Frame - SPOILED, everyone picked it. Pikachu and 04 nailed it, Hag and Flerb earned 2x PA.
Temptation - I was the lone pick. 50K and 4/8 for me.
Secret "X" - 5 picks. Everyone had it for a win, 4 selected it 3rd. 2x PA for JJ.
Most Expensive (for trips) - 9 picks. Pikachu nailed it, I maxed out and earned 4x PA. 04, 22FJB, Wayo, Mallory, and dprice gained 2x PA.
Time I$ Money - 3 picks. JJ, Jarod, and Mallory gain 15K each. Jarod nailed it.
Squeeze Play (for a CAR) - 2 picks. Jarod and Pikachu add 25K to their total. Pikachu nailed it.
Some unusual results hurt some players scores, but they can't always be predictable. That's part of the fun of it all. It was a closer race than I expected between 1st/2nd and 3rd/4th. I managed to win the confidence game with 12/40 to Pikachu's 12/32. Still a great result nonetheless and nothing to feel bad about there. 3rd and 4th were also separated by 8 CP. While JJ couldn't seem to pin anything down exactly, his 4 games were enough to overcome 04's 3 games; JJ will get the bronze with 8/32.
