Who would have thought that Double Prices would be the only thing keeping us from a perfect show? When Roger sets it up like that, though, I'm not liking its chances of being won.

HOTTIES: #215, Marsha; #216, Sarah; #217, Victoria :-D
BEST CONTESTANT OF THE DAY: Casshyna
SHOW GRADE: 3

Yippee! Cue 80 was played today for the dinette set! It and Cue 89 are my favorites from Suite "D".

One of the best shows of the season!

Switchy: Seemed like a tossup to me, with that expensive scuba gear, though I saw the daybed probably wasn't $4k...
Punchy: YAY the first "win" this season! The SPs weren't too bad today, Drew revealed the $10k correctly, and the graphic matched the Punchboard.
Always Ends In 0: Last time this was played it was for this exact same car, with $30 more of options (base price is $15,505, so extras are required for this game). Finally someone figures out the -0 rule and has enough chances on the car to find the El Cheapo.
SD1: Drew, the wheel is sacred to Price. It has no opinions, it just spins according to the power it is given by the spinner. Pregnancy is a non-factor. :-P
DP: Darnit, a perfect show blown by the :clipboard: . I saw through the -95 ruse thanks to yesterday's trip to AZ - $3980, but I doubt 9 out of 10 contestants could.
Money: Inversely, the DOB was nice to leave -25 as the back and finally get a win here. :)
PaP: V8 + Hot Pockets = easy pickings.
SD2: Wiggle + rolling, lol! Another 80/35 on the bonus spin, and we still have a lot of extra cash from the wheel this season. Hottest year ever?
SCs: Not too exciting, but darn, they both garfed! Judson cleans house despite his underbid, I think that was the $15k spa, and Casshyna has NO idea on hers, even w/ a cheap Hi-Lo.

Still, overall A: some fresh games in the first half were nice, contestants were excitable. ;D
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

OPEN: Back to purple titles...

SWITCH?: The choice there was fairly easy.  I also said No Switch.

PUNCHY: Yay for Punchy! The SPs were fairly easy.  Drew nailed the reveal of the $10K win, too. Finally...a graphic that isn't ugly!

10C: Aside from the one minor flop where Marsha wanted to write $90 again, she played this game very well, and remembered the zero rule.

SD1: Yay! The wheel is back in its usual position!

DP: Owwww... I also picked $3695, as it was screaming "Pick me, pick me"!  Unfortunately, :clipboard: wanted that one picked...and the game lost to ruin our perfecto.

MONEY: Fairly easy setup...although I wish they would play some other car games for once!

PaP: Easy pickings. That was set up for a win.

SD2: $1000! (sans graphic!)

SCs:  That Port 'o Price showcase seemed overpriced to me...My bids:
      :frts: - $25000 (diff. 2272)
      Port  - $17300 (diff. 3366)

OVERALL: 4.5/5.  One of the best shows of the year.  If only it was a perfect show...

"Change isn't always good. Sometimes changing things is a terrible mistake." - Bob Barker

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

Well, the titles are back to purple, they should really just stick with them instead of changing the colors.

I personally liked the wide-shot reveal for Switch?.  It looked so cool and went well with Drew's count to three and the models revealing both prices.

Yay, we have our first $10,000 win in Punch a Bunch this season and this is the first time we see the blue $10,000 graphic in the Drew Carey era.

Ten Chances was well played; Marsha followed the zero rule and didn't waste chances on any single prize.

Well, the Big Wheel has been set towards the center of the stage again, thank goodness.

"She's pregnant!  She's pregnant, stupid wheel!  Can't you see that was a pregnant lady?!"

Well, a perfect show was thwarted by Double Prices.  I personally thought the setup was kind of tough for the average viewer, $3695 just looked "right" for a trip, in my opinion.

Did anyone else find it strange that there was no $1000 graphic when Judson got the dollar?

I thought that shot from the jib cam of door #3, showing Judson and his friends during the closing was kind of cool.

Now that everything's calm on the horizon (and I've explained my purpose for being here), I can continue with my Drew Drops. And boy, there were plenty in today's show. The obvious ones to spot are during Punch-a-Bunch and Showcase Showdown 1.

Ten Chances had a drop as well, but this is interesting: an earthquake in Los Angeles happens every five months or so. Can anybody confirm this?

Also: today, CBS played a little ticket promo about the switch to digital television.

Switch?: Very interesting seeing both models reveal the prices at the same time. I would lose on this one had I switch.

Punch-A-Bunch: Great for Casshyna to get $10,000. The first one since Drew became host.

Ten Chances: A tiny glitch on Marsha's part for writing $90 again. After that it was smooth sailing from there.

SCSD #1: Glad to see the wheel where it's supposed to be. Very funny reference Drew made on Sarah being pregnant.  :oldlol:

Double Prices: I had a feeling it was $4803 for the trip to Colorado.

Money Game: Very simple and well played by Judson to win the car.

Pick-A-Pair: Another fairly easy one with the V8 and the cocoa. Not the Hot Pockets as somebody incorrectly stated there.

Showcases: Although neither Casshyna or Judson didn't went over both of them didn't made any great bids on their respected showcases. Yet it was Casshyna's showcase that definitely made the difference here.

Switch?: Yay! Sarah won both prizes! I thought she was such a sweetheart.

Punch-A-Bunch: All right! About time I saw another $10K win in this game!

10 Chances: Yay! Marsha won the car! She was sweetheart #2 today.

SCSD #1: Aw! I wanted Sarah or Marsha to win. Well, the wheel's back in its normal spot now, at least.

Double Prices: Who knew this game would be the only loss today?

Money Game: Great playing by Judson here, and a great reaction to winning, too.

Pick-A-Pair: I wonder how many times the V8 vegetable juice will be seen this season. Is it just me, or has it been used at least once every week this season?

SCSD #2: Did I miss the $1K win graphic when Judson got $1.00?

Showcases: Whoa! Talk about a major garf by Casshyna there!

Definitely a great show today.

Only have one bad comment about this way awesome show today:

Don't you just hate it when a Showcase price has the Evil Number in it?  *cringes*

This entire show and last night's Wheel of Fortune Bonus Round were way, way awesome combined!  Later!

i would have also said no switch there was no way that the day bed was over 4,000 good playing by sarah

terrific win by casshyna winning 10,000 on punch a bunch and correct if im wrong there havent been many 10,000 winners on this game this season have there

marsha played ten chances the way you are supposed to play this game

i along with carriann went with 3695 on the trip to denver

i knew that the last 2 number on money game were screaming pick 25

on pick a pair she went against the audience and picked the cocoa i wouldve done the same thing

both casshyna and judson major garfs on their showcases and congratulations to judson for winning almost 40,000 in cash and prizes

overall an excellent show

No Brandi today :(

S? - Nice job, i would've switched em, but she made the right choice
Punchee - Chuck Norris taught Bob Barker karate? I'm sure all the speculators will be riled up about this win, the hole that the 10K was in was the one she counted to. Nice job to Drew for that reveal.
10C - Great job today, nice to FINALLY see someone that knows what they're doing on 10 Chances.

And thats all i saw today, i will have to watch the rest on Innertube later.
Signatures are overrated.

Yeah, I'm with you all on the good ten Chances playing, but my heart skipped a beat there when she almost guessed $90 twice in a row on the first prize. She made a fantastic comeback from there, though.

Switch?:  I thought it was interesting to see both prices revealed at the same time.  I like the close-up shot better, so probably only one should be revealed at a time, but this was a nice change of pace.

Punch-a-bunch: I was so happy this game was finally won this season!  (although I do wish Drew wouldn't make the contestants do a karate yell; I wouldn't do it if I played this game)  However, I did like Drew's comment about finding it interesting Casshyna had "cash" as the first part of her name.

Ten Chances: I'm glad Drew told her she duplicated a guess.  I was worried he might count it as a guess.

SCSD1:  I loved Drew's comment to the Big Wheel.   :-)

Double Prices: I would've lost this game.  $--95 just seemed like the right price, even without the 9 there.

SCSD2:
Did anyone else find it strange that there was no $1000 graphic when Judson got the dollar?
I did, and I thought that it was quite unusual.  I wonder why that happened.

SC1: My Bid: $20,720 / Diff: $6,552
SC2: My Bid: $15,475 / Diff: $5,191
