"Rocky Balboa" Trailer!!
« on: September 07, 2006, 07:23:27 PM »
Attention "Rocky" fans!  Here is the official trailer to "Rocky Balboa", which is due to come out in theaters this Christmas.  Personally, I really think that this movie will be the best of the six films.  What are YOUR predictions.

Here's the link:
I just wanted to drop you a note and thank you for your love, affection and loyalty to me, drew, the models and.... The Price is Right....thank you for being such a "Loyal Friend & True". -Rich Fields (in an e-mail sent to me on 3/17/2010)

I support The Price is Right...even if nobody I know likes Drew Carey.

Are you predicting that this movie will win the Best Picture Oscar?  Because you know that the original did, right?

This will be the last one; it seems like they're really reaching for plot-line in this one.

The statue is actually at a slightly different location.  In Rocky III, we see the statue at the top of the famous steps.  Later, the statue was placed in front of the Spectrum for while.  There was some controversy as to where the statue should go, as some Art Museum reps were concerned that it did not meet the fine art standards they wish to hold.  So, a compromise was reached, and the statue now has a permanent home at the base of the steps.

I am a huge fan of the Rocky series, but watching Rocky V was painful. I don't see how on earth they can make a sixth movie now...

I'm more than a little worried about this new film. This could end up being another kick in the teeth to a great series - much like how Enterprise was a kick in the teeth (and to the groin) of the Star Trek franchise... :-?

Just go with Bill Simmons' "Rocky V never actually happened" theory and that should take care of it.

Bill Simmons is right an amazing amount of the time considering he works for ESPN. And, yes, he is right: ROCKY V NEVER HAPPENED!
