By the way, Vincent Lagaf is not "annoying" : I suppose you don't understand everything of his jokes due to the language but perhaps you are fluent in French. 
However, the show is really different from the previous version in 2001 : the host changed, contestants  are now selected thanks to a casting... but the game ambiance remains.

Actually Grand Prix means Grand Prix in english, as in a Grand Prix for a race like Formula One. They named it so because it is indeed the Race Game.


Bouche Trou translates to Hole Filler or to fill a gap.  Bouche-trou is actually an expression meaning that when a person's schedule is not filled, we try to fill it with somebody else (so I'm jus a gap filler, heh?)

Le Coup-poing is a Punch, as in fist punch with the hand.
