CSS Results for October 30
« on: October 30, 2006, 10:11:26 PM »
First, my apologies for this being late. I was just sitting down to post the results when I got a call from a music school at which I work, asking me if I could drop everything and come in RIGHT NOW. Being that they pay me, I did so.

But now, onto the CSS!

Today's showcases featured a way-too-expensive Electracraft boat, and a Jeep with a decently priced trip to Hawaii. A couple of people overshot the second, including the tragic-bid-of-the-day which goes to the Stage Player, only $165 over!

However, on the boat, two people were kind of close, and everyone else (myself included) went WAY under. Still, we got points. With nine sub-$1000 differences on SC2, it should come as no surprise that we have two DSWs today as well. SteveGavazzi hits the jackpot with $150 difference, and our GRECO leader apeminkie picks up second place with a $218 difference.

I'll be the first to lead the charge on the "F***ING RANDOM BOAT SHOWCASE!  That was a big price tag on such a skimpy boat.

And I credit one thing for my bid on the Jeep showcase...the Dob for offering the Jeep on the season premire!  I knew it was no more than $20K, so I added roughly $3K to it...and welcome to me that $650 difference!

And I think I'll have to be working on some special GARF-related images here pretty soon...we're going to need 'em.
They can be close at the top, too.

Great, I have nothing to show for my DSW...someone had to hog all the money! :-(

I did fairly decent, my good bid on SC2 made up for my garf on SC1.  At least I scored points

Let's see if I do better on Wednesday

So what if I committed a grey ear violation [also known in these parts as hara kiri] on the boat SC??? I'd have garfed anyway. No big deal. I was too glad to see a schoolmate on the show!

Not to be confused with a jellybean, THAT, my dear friend, is indeed a gray/grey ear.  :-D

Glad to see that I have some competition with my witty avatars! :D

Steve's cash total should be $76,068, which comprises both the DSW win of both showcases on 2 and the best bid on 1. You probably caught this error right away.

Remember, BloodyTom, you have a proud tradition to uphold with the Halloween CSS.
We'll think of a signature. Don't worry.
