Triple Play... ugh... so disguisting that they were overbudget just long enough to skip Golden Road last week, and everything's all hunky dorey to play Triple Play this week.  Shoulda' replaced Triple Play with Golden Road today, if you ask me.  I'm actually relieved Triple Play was lost.  Nothing against Bandon, but I don't want Golden Road to disappear again, just to have Triple Play show up on time again.

I'd have won Two for the Price of One.  The only reason I'd have won Two for the Price of One was because I'd have asked for the first number for free.  Today was a rare playing where the first number was actually the trickiest.  Unless Roger was feeling particularly malicious, that prize pretty much had to end in 95.

It's kinda' darnish that Dice Game was lost.  Roger was so trying to make sure that was won today!  When was the last time Roger used such a friendly price in this game, anyway?

And why didn't Joanna even try to spin the big wheel?  I mean, she was little, but she was also very young, and we've seen most young though little contestants able to get it around... she should've at least tried to give it a whack before asking Bob for help.

I was surprised Sharon picked the coffee second in Grand Game.  I so thought she was going to go the usual route of saving the hardest product for last.  I'd have lost, though.  I figured the Airborne Jr. would be cheap.  Stupid "Jr." tricking me like that.

What the heck kind of organ was that in the first showcase?  Looked like a toy!  Probably ultra expensive too, I bet.

Eh,this show was SPOOKY. Not very good in my opinion. Eh, I just didn't get much out of it. Oh well.

Triple Play: Painful loss here. I thought for sure we was gonna see a 2nd straight win in this game. Too bad.

Grand Game: Tough for the average Joe, but still she should have gotten to at least $1000. The 4th choice would have been the toughest as usual because the birdie stuff looks higher than it really is.

2 for the Price of One: I thought David played this well in taking the 3rd number. That dinnerware was cheaper than I thought.

Secret X: Its about time we got a win today.

Dice Game: Oy, I was afraid that 3rd number was going to be a 3.

Most Expensive: No reason for this being lost today whatsoever. The motorcycle was screaming to be picked.

Showcases: 2 nice bids there. Glad to see Brandon win though after losing Triple Play.

Like I said at the outset, other than the first two games today, the show was sorta blah.

Triple Play- Bummer. I wouldn't have expected the final car in Triple Play to be only $20K.

Bidding Round #3- #43, Joanna! :-D

Showcase- That looked like a kiddie organ or something. My keyboard's bigger than that.

BEST CONTESTANT OF THE DAY- Brandon.

SHOW SUMMARY AND GRADE- After Triple Play, this show was mediocre... Grade: 2

Triple Play:  Wow....Can't Stop The Dob (if I'm wrong on classifying this lil' bit for TP, I apologize).....never woulda thought the 1st price in the list would be right for all of 'em.  Shucks, thought Brandon would win 'em all.

Grand Game:  I had a feeling she was done when she went right for the coffee.

Showcase #1:  What was it that bumped the price of the FRBS to $28K (besides the boat, of course)?  Was that organ expensive or something?

Overall.....meh, it was ok in some sense today.

Triple Play: Really fair playing, but very tricky prices.

Grand Game: I really knew the coffee was going to blow it for her.

Secret X: Great strategic playing.

Triple Play: For the Vibe, I was thinking the price would be in the $18,000 range, and the price may have gone up a little, making me pick $19,219. I think the audience wanted that, too. For the Fusion, I had a feeling the right choice would be the top one ($20,462) or $22,150. I know it couldn't be on the bottom.

Grand Grame: Rocky coffee.

2 For the Price of 1: Not easy. Every combination would've worked for me. So much harder than Safe Crackers. How could David say he got the 5 right? We gave him that.

Secret X: Maybe my eyes are funny, but it looks like I see an X outline on the lower right square.

Dice Game: "Now Bob is not too worried about going against the odds on that first [4]."

Do Devin and Diane get rocks too?

Most Expensive: I knew it wasn't the dining group; but from different thought figures of the other two, I would've picked the motorbike.

With all these rocks, I kinda feel like playing a little Asteroids after eating some rocky candy...

Triple Play-That was painful.  It was a tossup between $20,462 and $22,150, and it ended up being the former.

Grand Game-That was painful also.  At least $10 is better than losing $1,000.

2 For the Price of 1-It was tricky today, and it was lost.

Secret X-Played as well it could be.

Dice Game-I knew that she had a good chance of losing when she said the third number was higher than 4.  I was proven right.

Most Expensive-I knew that the motorbike had to be picked.

Showcases-The Transylvania Hotel was funny.  Brandon really suprised me when he bid $27,000.  I thought he would go over, but he did not!  For the second showcase, I knew it would fetch between $16,000-19,000.

Overall, an interesting show.  Happy Halloween, everybody!

Pricing Game Length:
The time of the game begins at the moment a prize is revealed for the game, or the game itself is shown.

Triple Play -- 4:27
Grand Game -- 2:12
2 for the Price of 1 -- 2:03
Secret "X" -- 2:21
Dice Game -- 2:25
Most Expensive -- 1:39

Have they used orange back-lighting for Most Expensive before, or was that just for today's Halloween special??

PG #1:  Triple Play back so soon?!  That Ford Fusion was an absolutely base model.  It couldn't possibly have been more than $22,000.

PG #2:  [d]Generic Game[/d] Grand Game also should've been won today.  There was really no excuse for picking the coffee with such a low target price on the board.

PG #3:  That was EVIL!    Any of those possible prices could've been right.

One-Bid #4:  Butt-ugly expensive art alert!

PG #5:  Good--the dice wipe is back.  I knew Joanna should've played the odds on that 4.

Showcase #1:  Oh brother... a friggin' random piano with a boat.  A Halloween trick indeed.

My showcase bids:
FRBS--$23,205
Random room/trip--$19,999
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Oh, come on!  How can Grand Game have been so easy, yet Two for the Price of One so difficult?  Two for the Price of One had a deceptively simple price!  $695!  I really don't understand all the comments about this game having been evil today.  You're all just overcomplicating the simplicity of today's price.  Sometimes, you just gotta' trust The Dob.

And Grand Game... the target price was $4.25.  The coffee was $4.75.  I would imagine, for most contestants, it was a crapshot between the coffee and birdseed, either of which could have seemingly been more than $4.25.  Heck, the Airborne fooled me!  Stupid Jr. variety not being cheap like I'd expect....

Triple Play: No way this was going to be won twice in a row. Nobody would have chosen the first price three times in a row. Thus, I have to give Brandon credit for doing as well as he did.

Grand Game: Like Triple Play, hard.

2 for the Price of 1: Hardest game of the day. All three digits were tossups.

Secret X: Small prizes were hard, but there was no rock bottom trick, and it was played perfectly!

Dice Game: If only Joanna hadn't gone against the odds in the middle...

Most Expensive: Very easy. Shouldn't have been lost.

Showcases: I was surprised Brandon won! I thought he had grossly underbid the boat showcase, because I thought that was a very nice organ. He deserved to win.

Overall: Average show today.

No, no, no!  Can someone please explain why Two for the Price of One was so impossible today?  'Cause I don't understand how it could be considered so forced loss-ish when the price was $x95!  Everything is something-95!

You know, I don't think I've ever seen Triple Play set up the way it was today before.

What the heck happened at the beginning of Dice Game?  That was some terrible directing.

I'm not really sure why Most Expensive was lost the way it was...I thought the obvious choices were the motorcycle and the dinnette.

I love it when Rich gets to do weird voices in the Showcase...he always does such a good job with them.
