You got it. I have a list of 25 or 30 tapes ready to be sent off/traded, and I hope to have that posted by this evening.

I'm willing to go in on this. Whenever you post that list, I'll look it over and see if there's anything I like.

I am particularly interested in episodes from 1992-95 that I don't have.

Ok, since I've had such a strong response to my offer to send my original VHS collection of The Price is Right to those of you interested, rather than just trashing it (because I'm transferring to DVD and no longer have space or need for the VHS copies), read below if you're interested, or just click on the link in my signature.

**Marc and John, I am not trying to start a trading circus here on your site. I would just really like to see appreciative TPIR fans get the chance to view these episodes rather than just trash the tapes, and since this is the site for all things Price is Right and the hangout of so many loyal fans, I could think of no better place than here to offer these.

http://temptation1979ga.webs.com/

As some of you may know, I have decided to transfer my entire Price is Right VHS collection to DVD. It will take a while, but in the end, it'll save me space, and I'll have more durable copies of my favorite game show. Instead of simply trashing the VHS copies, I'd like for some of my fellow Price is Right fans to have a chance at viewing these episodes, if they are interested. I started recording when I was 12 years old (in 1991) and saved many episodes. By the time I was 14, I recorded daily and saved EVERY episode. You can imagine how many episodes the collection grew to include by the time Bob Barker retired in 2007. For a while, I even recorded most every episode GSN aired, so literally hundreds of pre-1990's episodes will also be available.

Please send me a message if you'd like to propose a trade or are interesting in having a copy for yourself. Honestly, I'm only looking to get 2 or 3 shows maximum for every 6+ that I send out, and I don't have to get something for every video I send out. I'd prefer to trade for Price is Right episodes I do not already have, but I will definitely consider trading for other classic game shows, and I am particularly interested in finding original episodes of Unsolved Mysteries:biggrin: hosted by Robert Stack (the older the better!).

**These are NOT for sale. The only time money will be discussed is in relation to the cost of shipping.

So here we go, in no particular order:

Oct. 14, 15, 16, 19, 1998 (also contains 2 1982 episodes)
May 2,3,4,5,8,9, 2000
Oct. 11,12,13,16,17,19,2000
Nov.4,5,6,7,10,11,1997 (contains Go episode from Nov. 1983)
Feb. 16,17,18,19,20,23,1998
April 7,8,9,10,13,1998 (Rosie O'Donnell Show 4/8/98)
Dec. 16, 1997/Jan. 2,5,6,7,8,9, 1998
March 4,5,6,9,10,11,1998
Feb. 24,25,26,27,March 2,3,1998
Jan. 28, 29,30, Feb. 2,3,4, 1998 (closing moments of final Go from Jan. 1984)
Jan. 7, 1998/Oct.1,1997, Feb. 3, 1998/Match Game '75 Bob Barker/I've Got a Secret '72

Feb.5,1998, Sept. 22,23,24,25, 1998 (Martial Law w/Bob Barker)
April 15,16,17,20,21,22,1998
Sept. 29,30,28 October 1,2,5, 1998
May 26,29,30,31, June 1,2,2000
Feb. 28, Mar 3,4,5,6,7, 1997
Jan. 20, 21,22,25,26,27, 1999
June 1,4,5,6,7,8,11, May 30, 31, 2007
April 3,4,5,6, 20, 23, 2007
Feb. 12, 13, 15, 16, 19, 20, 2007
Mar 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 2007
Jan. 25, 26, 29,30, 31, Feb. 1, 2007
April 9, 10, 16,17,18,19, 2007
Feb. 2,5,6,7,8,9,2007
Mar 16, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 2007
Dec. 6,7,8,11,12,13,2007
April 5, 6,7,24,25,26, 2006
Nov. 16, 17, 20, 21,22, 27, 2006
Dec. 4,5,8,9,10,11,12, 1997 (also has "Yolanda" episode from 1977)

That's what is available so far. It's easier for me to list a few dozen episodes at the time, rather than transfer the entire collection to DVD and post a gigantic list here.Send me a private message at my Golden-Road.net account, and we will talk from there. The list will be updated as often as I have time!

 A few notes:

--I only send VHS tapes. (However, they are the originals!) Please do not ask me to transfer to DVD, as that's what I'm in the process of doing myself.

--Tapes will not be mailed out until the cost of shipping has been paid.

--Please respond only if you are interested and are sure you can pay to have the tapes shipped to you. It doesn't matter to me if you want 1 tape or 5 or 7 or whatever. Just be serious if you inquire.

--I will try to keep the list updated. If an episode disappears from the list, that means someone else beat you to it. Don't worry. Chances are, there are bunches more you might be interested in that will appear later.

--Some tapes contain more than six episodes, and some fewer, as you see above. Many of the tapes have other material on them as well, such as GSN episodes or clips.

--Most of the episodes contain original commercials, although if I was home during recording, they might have been edited out.

--The condition of most of the episodes ranges from good to excellent, but there are some tapes where the quality isn't so great. On most of them, the quality is really good. However, all of them are watchable, and in my opinion, pretty good for being so old!

--Preference will be given (obviously) to those who propose a trade of some kind. But not having anything to trade does not mean you won't be able to get any tapes. All that is required is that you cover the cost of shipping.

Any further questions you might have, please do not hesitate to ask me. I am looking forward to hearing from those interested!

Thanks,

Carlos (temptation1979ga on Golden-Road.net)

Those of you who were interested, please check the link in my signature. It has been updated with more tapes. The first 150+ episode I listed were snatched up quicker than actual gift cards at the GSN web site!  :oldlol:  It'd be better to talk in private message or in e-mail than for me to keep posting messages here.  27 more tapes were added to the available list this morning.
