OK, we've heard the argument long enough about how a given game -- today, Bullseye was the game cited -- might be "one of the easiest games" on the show, and it doesn't need to be played for a $13,000 prize package.

OK, maybe, maybe not. But I do want to know ... if not for $13,000, for how much then? Give me a range and some solid reasoning as to what defines that as "reasonable" given the skill level of a game like Bullseye.

Nine trips have been offered in the Showcase in two days.  That's ridiculous.

Actually, I agree with this statement totally! I'd prefer one trip max in each showcase ... I've never been a fan of "Around the World" showcases, and some good prizes to go along with them. (I'd add a girl for the Mini Cooper showcase, too!  :oldlol: )

Probably a maximum of $8000, most of the time 5-7k?
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

the most redundant showcase I've ever seen for SC2.  At least Mikel seemed genuinely excited.

This is definitely the first time I've seen a prize package that involves flying from Los Angeles to the same part of the world three different times. Couldn't they have arranged one three-stop trip?

OK, that don't seem too bad. Can get a really good trip or a nice room of furniture for that money.

"Welcome back to The Price Is Right!  I have a huge bowtie!  George, who's next?"  Yeah, Drew, you go right along thinking that's funny.

It's not intended to be gut wrenching funny... it's intended for a "chuckle," which I got. :-P

Bullseye, Grocery Game, Cliff Hangers, and all the other similar games used to be played for prizes in the mid-four-figures on a regular basis, and they worked just fine.  There is not a single thing different about them now except that more money that they already don't have is being spent on the prizes (although it's actually getting spent more in the Showcase, since the pricing games aren't won all that often at this point).  The show could easily go back to the price ranges it used to adhere to, both in the pricing games and in the Showcase, and be able to afford more wins.

I thought it was kinda neat that Drew went ahead and lifted all the covers in Bullseye, even though it was unnecessary.

I'm getting tired of how Drew just blows over the essence of some of the games. Coming or Going is built upon the play on the phrase, "know whether you're coming or going." Drew doesn't even mention that. Sure, "just tilt it up if you want that price..." explains how to play the game...but it's boring. (Coming or Going is much better with a price reveal, though!) He doesn't get the money in Money Game, the switching in Switcheroo, and Coming or Going he just blows right over. That's just lazy. I'm sure there are other games he does the same way.

The bowtie comment...I'll think of the positives--at least he didn't beat it into the ground by repeating it a few times or spend 20 seconds going he-he-he laughing at it, while 90% of everyone else just sits there.

The contestant in Pocket Change was fun, but Drew's reveal was, well, unexciting. That's not the first time I've seen him use that low-key "oh no she's gonna have to pay taxes on it" reveal. Not really the time for that, in my opinion.

Y'know the first couple times Drew did that reveal I really liked it...but if i recall correctly he didn't do the entire thing low key before. He put some excitement into it once he had told them they had won. Today he was muttering so bad I couldn't even hear him over the main theme.

What a sad thing that on this show right now you have a host mailing it in and an announcer who shows more life and excitement on any given day than the host does. This whole week it was painfully salient. Drew must really be thinking about soccer season already. Or anything else that isn't happening on stage 33.

So did I. Glad I'm not the only one.

Totally unnecessary for Drew to say how large his bow tie was.

I know we have pictures of the Pocket ¢hange envelopes in the Golden Gallery, but it was cool to see a closeup of them...

Did anyone notice that when they did a close up on the .25 envelope, on the back of the envelope you could read a little 25?  Is this to prompt Drew of the value inside, or just a coincidence??   If the numbers are on all of the envelopes, that is something that the viewers should never see!  It takes away the "randomness" from the show and makes Drew look (more) unprofessional.  Maybe I am just reading into this too much??

My guess is the numbers on the back are for when the game is being set up. But just a guess, I could be mistaken.

Yep, it is there to prompt Drew to the value inside in order to try to build up the best "suspenseful" or "fun" situation.
