Cover Up used the exact same car on 3/11... I always hate when they re-use tough setups, but it worked, again.

Shell Game got really awkward after he got the [tricky] last SP wrong. Can we please think about redoing the rule... I think Drew had an interesting idea to lift up both remaining shells at once, but he did it too wildly. Still, good last playing for the game this season.

One Away was played pretty badly. 21xx3 should have been the easy part, but it completely went haywire.

I know ?Switch? was set up for a loss...still disheartening to see it lost so quickly.

Prepare for more bland showcases, I guess, as we wind down...
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

The game is on a rigid 8-week rotation. It's done.

Also, no SP was a given at all besides the mop, and the pie dish was blatantly there to protect the other two toss-ups.

Did you really need 2 posts for the same one idea of "I love shell game, it should've been won, I want to see it every day, give a $1000 bonus"?

Also, yes, it IS the last shell game playing of the season.

Nice wins on Eazy and shell. Cover Up, Double Prices, One Away, and Switch had tough losses. Double Prices and Switch shouldn't have been lost.

That Vermont trip has been 9K in the showcase for the same number of days at the same hotel, but was 5K and change in One Right Price is March.

What the flip does that have to do with what you quoted, and why should we care how much it was 6 weeks ago?

Great wins on both Eazy and Shell Game. The other games were somewhat difficult, though.

I knew One Away was lost before the reveal.  Two $23xxx cars in the same show just seemed wrong.
New TPiR Announcer: Gilbert Gottfried.  See?  Things *can* be worse.

Does it seem awkward to anyone else to have the first Item up for Bids be displayed in Contestants' Row or in the Basket?

Blah...I don't like it when they use the Line em Up music in Cover Up.  It just doesn't sound right.

Drew, "new rules" isn't a good excuse for forgetting how Shell Game works when the part of the rules you screwed up has been around since 1974.

Unless it showed up on May 3, today was the first playing of One Away in five weeks.  That's just nuts.

Speaking of One Away, as interesting as Joshua's pleas during it were, his blunder when asking if he had one number right seemed like something Bob could have had infinitely more fun with.

Can't believe it took them this long to get Gwen back on the piano... her actually playing sounds much better than the lame sound clip.

I hope what you're saying is, "He just screwed up on the explanation of the rules," because I think he knows the Shell Game rules cold. He just tends not to explain it very well.

I am beginning to sense what others have said before on here: He simply does not like the game." Which is OK, he's got a right to his opinion. I would just take it up with the show's producers at a time other than taping.

Additionally, I think the "old" bonus (I'd increase it to $1,000, and mention it only upon a sweep of the pricing game questions) should apply here. Even if it was not intended, Drew did make it a downer when the contestant missed the question about the pie pan's price -- I dare anyone to say that three times fast! -- and the "new bonus" was out of play.

I was saying exactly what I said.  I'm not sure how it could be interpreted in more than one way.
