This show was set up OK, but it didn't work out all that great. In particular, Lynn had a decent 5PT setup and was seriously off.

Jerome was the best Clock Game player in awhile (remember - this is relative :P), just needed to go by 100s at first and it wouldn't have been so close.

God, stop setting up Grand Game like this...
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

-Range Game was just tough luck. Oh well.
-Clock Game was EXCITING. I thought he was done for when he made that $175 jump on prize one. Luckily, he pulled it out in the clutch, Did my ears deceive me or did Drew mention the $1K bonus.
-5 Price Tags was great to see. I can't believe someone actually said true and that there were two falses. What's going on here?
-One Wrong Price was EVIL. They put in the CHEAPEST iMac available. Luckily her gut was smart and she stuck to it.
-That's Too Much suffers another loss by one spot. A very interesting pattern for this season.
-Grand Game was itself today. I got fooled by the Sanka but as soon as I saw the Drumsticks I knew the money wasn't being won.

Indeed, very exciting Clock Game today. And it came down, as it should, to good old-fashioned pricing. The second prize was described carefully, Jerome thought about it, and his first bid was a mere $30 off. Nice. :)

On the other side of the coin though, I didn't like George starting to describe the small prizes in Five Price Tags before Drew (the host) asked him too. The flow is a lot better when the announcer doesn't cut off or speak over the host; after nearly 40 years of "Tell us about this Johnny", Rod, Rich (& others), I don't like this change.

I also didn't like George saying "It's just a dishwasher" after all the contestants overbid. That was insulting.

Usually she doesn't bother me, but Gwendolyn annoyed the hell out of me today.

Range game had tough luck today.
Clock Game was won just in the nick of time and was amazing also.
5 price tags was a fair setup with 2 of 4 falses.
One Wrong Price i woulda won and guessed the imac.
That's Too Much was tough again well at least mike kinda took a hint this time with every price in the thousands by every other.
Grand game i also woulda won.
So 2 for 6 is fair.

Close call in Clock Game; fortunately it resulted in a win.  Julienne got lucky when she bid $1 and made it up on stage.

I certainly agree with the last point. That could either have been edited out or George could have just plain kept quiet. He's done a great job so far, but he needs to keep in mind he's an announcer (and occassional model), not the show jester. The whole thing just came off wrong, even if all George was trying to help the contestants in his own intimatible way.

Fortunately, this was a minor irritation to today's show. Clock Game was a classic "pull victory from the jaws of defeat," and Grand Game was tricky -- I would probably would have been tripped up on those ice cream cones (I had them pegged at $4.99 and the Liquid Plumber at over $6).

Agreed. It did just feel wrong to me, even if George was just following directions.

Good show today. I thought Jerome was gonna blow it with that 775 bid on the games.

Grand game is blehh as usual.

Drew had a brain cramp at the end of SCSD#2.  He nearly made Julienne spin again on a winning number

Good to see George's new podium plasma screen finally get usage in a prize description.

Jerome's bidding in Clock Game was a bit random, but he pulled out a great last-second win thanks to his narrowing down the price of the video games very quickly.

I don't believe it... there were two false prices in 5 Price Tags and the contestant still couldn't earn more than one pick.  Mike is not intentionally making this game impossible to win.  The contestants are making this game impossible to win.

"It's just a dishwasher!"... that overbid reaction from George actually worked.

The second half of the lineup was crap, but the first half was a great 1970s lineup.

My showcase bids:
Jeep--$24,507
Harley--$19,107
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".
