Pretty decent show. More cash and bonus cash on the Wheel is always nice.

It's hilarious how a cutaway shot in 1/2 Off right before the model lifts the box is an unintentional spoiler.

Well, this is the better show I was expecting at some point.  In particular, Pierre did a great job to steal Half Off away.

Jennifer may not have won Line 'Em Up if she hadn't stupidly given up on the 4th digit and repeated the 6, but she would have improved her chances.

SC2 just plainly sucked, that's the plain truth.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Yes, this was a good show. 4/6 in budget mode is nice; especially when the total amount is still sub-$70K. Plus SC1 was one of the best in a long time; it took me back to the good days of themed showcases.

Plus a lot of small play frequency games (1/2 Off, Hi Lo, Line em Up). This was a great show.

-Money Game was tough. She didn't see the "El Cheapo" and that was all she wrote.
-Another Half-Off win? This game and 3 Strikes have been great this year. Big oops on the model's part picking up the box. What an interesting contestant we had.
-Squeeze Play was interesting.....glad it was won.
-One Right Price could've been bad, thank goodness it wasn't
-Hi-Lo wasn't terribly difficult. Thank goodness the contestant wasn't fooled.
-Line 'Em Up wasn't hard. I wish she could've seen that the 2nd six didn't look right. Oh well.

Half-Off, Squeeze Play, and Hi-Lo were all won on the same show? What's going on here?  8-O

A sandwich show....two losses in the beginning and end and wins in between. How interesting.

SC 2 was a mess.

Not really - who knows El Cheapo anymore? And Liney was pretty crapshoot-y.

I think El Cheapo has turned from a Dobstopper into a Mike Trap.

Squeeze Play was easy as pie. So was 1 Right Price.

Line em up was blahh.

More failcases, ugg its all Mike's fault for blowing the budget

Money Game:  El Cheapo claims another victim - bummer! :-(
1/2 Off:  Nice win! :-)
Squeeze Play, 1 Right Price, Hi Lo:  Nice job! :-)
Line Em Up:  Rats! :-(
SCSD#2:  I was glad that Jennifer won $10,000 &, at the same time, I was a little bummed out because of how close she was to $25,000.

Good show overall, IMHO.

1/2 Off hasn't done well at all this season. It was in a 5-month slump until it was finally won.

And 1 Right Price. 1 Right Price is barely won anymore.

Drew hosted pretty well today...which made the one or two things he did wrong stand out even more than usual.  Most notably, he needs to stop mentioning the Item up for Bids every time a game is lost -- his toss out of Line em Up was easily the least sincere-sounding thing he said all day.

I must have missed something...what did Rachel do in 1/2 Off?

If Drew has to plug that magazine, he should probably do it after the prize description.  It could be done just as smoothly, and it wouldn't give away what the prize was going to be.

In a way, I'm glad Money Game was lost, even though it was lost badly...a win there would have made the end of Line em Up much more painful.

Kitch, maybe I'm missing something, but why isn't your description of the first showcase just "Rock-Paper-Scissors?"

I can understand why he does that (most likely): as a consolation after the loss. However, I think it would have been better today if he mentioned the $276 that Anitra won in Money Game as well. A tidy sum in my book to go with the electric bike.
Perhaps something like this, adding to Drew's words: "You got a nice electric bike though" and... $276 to go along with it. (with a gesture &/or look at the board).

I would have mentioned the money regardless.

Sometimes, people lose.  That's a reality in game shows.  You're not supposed to feel good about it; you're supposed to accept it graciously and leave.  Besidees, it's not like the contestants are even finished yet -- they all have to come back on and spin the Big Wheel.

Additionally, Drew uses far too many "crutches" during the show because he can't come up with things to say on the fly (well, things that make sense, anyway).  Reminding every single loser about their IUFB is just one of many of these.

Jennifer mouthed something before placing her final bid. After flipping the DVR back and forth a few times, it looked like she was saying "But that's $#!+". Are my lip-reading skills failing me in my old age? And do you think she was referring to Karen's bid... or the range itself?
