Well congrats to Pick-A-Pair for quite the impressive streak. I don't know much about pricing game streaks in the history of the show, but that was excellent. I was hoping that this would go perfect and Cover Up would go winless just so we could have the stark contrast. Now let's hope Cover Up picks up its first win when it is played this week.

I don't know if I'm one of a few, but I love the Contestant's Row staging of Double Prices and am glad to see it again after it took a long time off. Today's playing was excellently shot and closing the virtual door when she lost, wonderful. Speaking of which, that shouldn't have been lost. Odd.

Shell Game was definitely set up for the bonus opportunity today. Too bad it didn't work out. Hopefully this wasn't the last playing of the season and we'll see it one more time.

Good win in Shopping Spree; that computer is notoriously deceptive.

I tell ya what, my stalwart $19,920 bid is doing well on these recent 20K showcases.

And mine seems to not work properly in IE...dunno why, maybe someone can spot an error in my HTML...

It works fine in not-sucky browsers, though. :)

The recap accuracy on identifying the models in shaky. Everyone has Manuela modeling the TV, when it was actually Rachel. And folks have Gwen showing up on today's show.

Shopping Spree was nothing short of a Dobstopper.  There is no way anyone was supposed to pick that camera.

The first showcase was actually a showcase!  Writing the ending properly (i.e. without Drew's beloved recap) opens the door for a better wrap-up, though:  "And this showcase, which we think you'll go hog wild over if you win, can be yours if The Price Is Right!"

Not sure why the Manuela/Rachel thing is that big of a deal, but yes, I accidentally left Gwen in when using a template, so that was my bad. It also showed on RoadgeekAdam's because it's clear he just copy/pasted my Recap and changed some colors around.

Nice wins on Shopping Spree and Shell Game & it was neat seeing 2 spinoffs in the first Showcase Showdown.  Pretty blah other than that, IMHO.

Who modeled what prizes is one of the pieces of info a recap is supposed to include. Also, it's something I read the recaps for. And all three entries have errors in who modeled what prizes. I don't recall hearing one way or another about whether rank-and-file posters should give comments/feedback on the entries; I figured. There were errors or omissions beyond the ones I pointed out, but I figured giving a couple examples would be enough.

I don't want to generate ill will, but since you already pointed it out, it does look like he just copied you. I think all the model mentions (included errors/omissions) were identical.

I knew Lucky Seven was going to be lost.  I was not set up unfairly in my opinion.

Easy set up in Shopping Spree.  Dell computers are notoriously cheap.

Joshua plain and simply rubbed me the wrong way. I was happy to see him fail at Pick A Pair.

Lamont was the kind of contestant that we need to see more of.  Shell Game was set up for the "bonus".  But if you never seen that portable scanner in your life, you were not going to get it correct.

Any Number was tricky.

Double Prices was setup for an automatic win.  Contestants must learn to LISTEN to the prize descriptions.

I was happy Dendee won her showcase.
