Just watched the Plinko clip, because sleep is overrated. It must have been super exciting to watch live. The last two chips both hit $10,000, and they were both way off to the sides before miraculously bouncing back to the middle right at the end. It's not often I say this, but that was an awesome Plinko.

I can't believe some of you are saying the gum was easy. Look at NoT lately, no one thinks stuff is <1.00 anymore.

Clearly you've never bought gum.

I assure you that there are a lot of packs of gum worth more than 69¢.

And they're much larger than the one in the game.

The gum is certainly an easy thing to price outside of the context of Pass the Buck. It the type of thing you always see at the supermarket check-out next other candy priced 69 cents. It's not the type of large candy item one would see at $1.69 in a supermarket. Compared to a lot of the grocery products on the show, people should be more familiary with the gum.

What may trip people up is putting it in Pass the Buck next to an expensive prize. When there's a big price gap between two Pass the Buck items, some people have a tendency to put the dollar on the lower priced one. So Pricing Game pscyhology can trip people up in this. But in terms of abstract pricing, the gum is one of the easier, more familiar things grocery shoppers see.

Exactly. The notion that other packs of gum, that are clearly distinct from this one, are over 69 cents is not much of a counterargument.
