What was the rule? That the more expensive price is the correct one?

It's still disheartening to see that a modern unwritten rule has so quickly gone by the wayside. That, or it was just a freaky coincidence that it was happening in the first place.

I think the rule is still in place. I'm pretty sure it was never meant to be a "If it's not a Trip it HAS to be COMING" rule as much as it is a "If it's a Trip it HAS to be GOING" rule. Which, in that case, has been true for since late Season 39 and all of Season 40 MOST of the time (1 COMING Trip, 6 GOING Trips in Season 40). So far this season it has been all GOING Trips, so we will see. Then again, 1 might be the exception, not the rule. (Like The 1/2 Off Box 13 Rule, it was "broken" once.)

What was the rule? That the more expensive price is the correct one?

If it is a Trip --> GOING is Correct

Then there was an assumption that if it is not a Trip --> COMING must be right.

I don't think there was ever a hidden rule in the first place, you goofs.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Look at many of the previous playings. It seems a little too coincidental how often that a trip's correct answer is "going."

Also, we're not goofs. :)

She had the car!!

Agreed that the product price set-up in Hole was horrible.

I know it's a matter of opinion and taste, but to me the prize cues during the first half of the show were just plain weird. In particular, the Make Your Move cue and the product cue in Hole (what was that??!).

Is this 6231K or 6232K? Both were taped December 3, and the CBS.com tape dates page has the episode count numbers instead of production numbers.

It's 6231K, from the post vadernader made earlier in the Airdates Update thread.
There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.
