2/1/13 -- RESULTS
« on: February 01, 2013, 12:57:23 PM »
I was already sick before today's show began.  Today's show made me even sicker.  I had Cliff and Gas, and Play-Along picks of 2 and 3... but threw them all out because that strategy worked so well for me last week.  My official picks this time around put me in 17th place and made me the only person to walk away without a single penny in Play-Along bucks.  Which basically means I came in dead last in cash.

All that on top of Sandler slotting Shell Game not just on the same episode as, but in the slot immediately before, Cliff Hangers!

If you think my heartache is bad, just wait until I pull out this news:  One of ya'll came really damn close to breaking my Super Secret $1,000,000 Bonus.

Now to the winners.  Our third-place finisher scored 7 MP/38 CP with his picks of Money (wS/wR), Cliff (wS/rR), and Gas (rS/rR).  That was Flerbert419!

Our second-place finisher pulled together a score of 10 MP/34 CP with picks of Bargain (wS/rR), Cliff (wS/rR), Gas (wS/rR), and COG (rS/rR).  That was vadernader!

But our winner beat vader in confidence.  Scoring 10 MP/42 CP with his picks of Bargain (wS/rR), Cliff (wS/rR), Gas (rS/rR), and COG (wS/rR) was...

Wayoshi!  Congratulations!

There may or may not be an FPG next Friday.  Be sure to check this forum on Thursday afternoon for an official announcement before you submit anything.

Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

I almost did even better - figured Money could show and nearly switched my quickie order, which would have led to a perfect 5-6.

It's about time results and the expected quickies line up for me. Just one giant twist in Shell, the rest was quite standard and slotting was very by-the-numbers.

Looking forward to a stats update now.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Why, oh why did I go with Eazy az 1 2 3 instead of taking Barker's Bargain Bar like I knew I should have?

I went the opposite way.  I had Eazy in my original six, then swapped it out for Bargain.  Of course, the only thing that did for me this week was prevent me from getting a zero.
