And Tags...............Making the cheap price the car price, Mike? (sighs while shaking my head) You know that this isn't Gas Money, right?

Why does it matter? All you have to do is pick the right price regardless of the other choices. I actually think it's a good thing because if a contestant happens to be a semi-regular viewer (not likely, I realize), he or she may notice the trend that the lowest price is correct more often than not.

It seems like every other show has been fantastic lately...this was another wonderful episode that almost felt like the old days.  The lone, glaring exception was the Deal or No Deal-esque reaction shot at the end of Freeze Frame, which totally wrecked the pacing of Drew's reveal and looked completely out of place.

Crazy...they finally set Five Price Tags up with the ARP right at the top, and the contestant completely bombs.

The individual bikes in Eazy az 1 2 3 appear to each have the same price as the barbecue smoker.  That doesn't really mean anything, but it looks interesting. :)

Grand Game was pretty nasty, what with the makeup being right and the cheap Allegra being over, which probably would have fooled even an LFaT (I certainly wouldn't have gotten it).  What makes it even worse is that Michael very nearly pulled off a Dobstopper and won anyway but then changed his mind.

Negative: A new low for CBS/Price/Fremantle as Drew and his interpreter tried telling him sorry without the music cue people getting the last notes in....  :embarassed:

Heads are completely going to roll over that one.

HE'S deaf and you've completely exerted energy by playing the Loser's fanfare of shame anyway.

Hey, remember how we all advised you not to post for a while several months back after you uploaded that totally absurd rant about Range Game?

If this post is any indication, "a while" needs to go on for a bit longer.

It's well established that the exact opposite reasoning is used -- and quite successfully, I might add -- to cause car games to be lost.  They bank on contestants not thinking the lowest option is going to be right, and most of the time, it works.  It gets old when they do it the same way on every single playing, but you can't argue that it hasn't had the desired outcome.

How long am I not to state my honest opinions then?  :-(

Sorry for anything rude I've said in the past several months about the show and how they run things.

Thread title changed.  We do not need "Apology if you can handle it" showing up on the front page.

Torgo has left the building. John and I never really cared for the way he presented himself.

Okay, I'm having a hard time coming up with a tactful way to deal with this, because really, it's a mess made by both the original poster and those calling him a troll, and I'm not sure there's a good way out of it.

First of all:  Torgo, Vader, cut it out.  Looking at DMWTD's video for all of three seconds makes it clear as a bell that he isn't trolling, and you egging him on isn't going to help anything.  I don't want any further comment on this from either of you.

Now, with that out of the way...DMWTD, I'm really not sure what you want us to do here.  You're welcome to participate in our discussions, but if you do, you're going to be responded to just like anyone else, and that means that if you say something asinine -- and let's be clear that regardless of whether or not you thought they were, your comments about both Range Game and Squeeze Play were TOTALLY asinine -- people are going to call you out on it.  There are times in our lives when it's best just not to say anything at all, and I think the two posts of yours in question, as well as your two YouTube videos that came after them, all fall into that category.

In the future, maybe it would be best if you let someone read over your posts before you submit them so that you can get a second opinion on whether or not they make sense.  Short of that, though, I can't really help you -- your words are your own responsibility.

Excuse me? My post was not meant to "egg him on" or be "needlessly insulting", it was just what I felt this thread was going to turn into. (What others were going to say in response to his video, not what he said).

If anything, it was this quote that was needlessly insulting and forced him to make a reply to defend himself.

Since I'm not familiar with the term, what's a Dobstopper? I would assume something to do with Roger's setups, but not certain.

I'm glad that you weren't trying to insult DMWTD with your post.  Unfortunately, though, you still contributed to a bad situation in which the proper course of action would have been just not to say anything.

I'm not glad that you attempted to continue this discussion when I specifically told you not to.

Edward was great. It really was too bad he had to face Squeeze Play, which is an unforgiving enough game without the Peanut Gallery's consistently overpricing jet skis... At least he won his Showcase.

Maybe it would have been better if no one in the audience could do sign numbers :)

Grand Game was nasty.  Why are those dog treats so expensive, anyway?  You'd expect human treats to cost more.

Those aren't ordinary dog treats; they're "dental" dog treats and can be considered a medicinal product.

I could send them a great one for the grocery game - a package of CAT Treats - just buy 1 and you'll win! (They are $20.75 - who would guess that unless they've used them - specially made for joint treatment).

It's when Roger would set up a game to be hard to win, but the contestant won it regardless.
