2/3/14 -- RESULTS
« on: February 03, 2014, 01:03:15 PM »
Before today's show started, I told everybody in chat I had a sick feeling that today's MPG would be just like last night's Super Bowl:  lopsided.

I was right.

In what was quite possibly the worst lineup in FPG history, we had one game picked by the majority, three games picked by only one person, and two Sandbags.  Danger Price totally came out of nowhere.  Pass the Buck has been on a three-week rotation so far this season, so its appearance wasn't totally surprising.  Bargain Game was already played in the same production week as today's episode, but that didn't stop PriceFan985 from picking it.  Range Game was picked by Schfifty.  Bonkers was picked by Thatgameshowguy, who has only played one other FPG this season.  All three of them get $50,000 for their ballsy picks.

Richard Sherman had 3 tackles before leaving in the middle of the fourth quarter due to an ankle injury.  That added $75,000 to today's pot.  But he wasn't the only person who added some big bucks to today's game...

:dsw:!  DOUBLE MONEY DAY!

Today's amount was already getting doubled because it was originally scheduled on a Friday, so the DSW made it quadruple.

PriceFan985 picks up his first gold medal of the season for being the only person to pick two PGs.  There is no bronze medalist today because wildbill0962 and I tied for second.  Never before have I been so happy to see Money Game.

See you on Friday for some Play-Along action!

Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

You know what I'm disappointed in? Not in Adam Sandler, not in my performance, none of those. No, it's that OneBidTris can call 11 games right but only get 2 MG out of the mix. Talk about not living up to the potential of the score there, man.
Yeah...let's make this current shall we?

You know what I'm disappointed in?  The fact that I got home from work, realized that last night I dozed off while working on my picks, and never sent them.   Like I just opened my laptop and the message I was working on was still here.   Hahahahaha.   Live and learn, I guess.

It's tough to play the game when you don't know what's in the deck.

Absolutely this. There was no reason for Bargain to show up twice in this week - none. They did not know this episode was going to be moved, and they actually taped it BEFORE the Christmas episode with Bargain on it. If repeat games can show up any old time, it kinda undermines the point of a "Friday" prediction game, where we play on Friday BECAUSE we have 24 games we can eliminate. If this was done intentionally for FPG, Adam or whoever's writing the lineups, this is the one and only thing that is dirty pool. Please cease and desist.

When I saw my picks compared to everyone else's, I thought I had messed up big time. But based on what happened on the show, I didn't feel quite so bad after.
