Would I want to win a trip to a resort LITERALLY 6 miles from where I live?

I would love a trip to my home city even though I live there - would never see it on the show most likely though. The big thing we're known for is being just a few miles away from the most contaminated nuclear site that is in the process of the largest environmental cleanup in the United States! Try advertising that in a travel brochure!

Well, you would get a free hotel stay, and if the trip includes admission to a show, attraction, dinner, tour, etc, then that's things you can certainly take and only have to pay whatever taxes there are.  Unless they changed the rules about everything being considered a separate prize on trips in terms of accepting them and taxes.

To be fair, they did offer Sandwich, England for a trip. I was just having fun with the Sandwich theme.
