A decent show today, but I was disappointed with Drew's hosting of Switcheroo. It's not just his "who cares" dismissal of the small prizes, but he was also saying "all that matters is the car" while the contestant was playing, which had to be distracting.

I really wish Drew would respect this game more too.  It's a fun game, and it's only a matter of time before it goes up in smoke if Drew continues his apathy.

And it seems like every time Drew says that misleading rule, the game ends up being a wipeout. Take the April 15, 2008 episode, for example. I fondly remember that he explicitly stated the player to concentrate on the car, and yet she wiped out.

Major props to who conceived the birthday showcase. It's been a long while since somebody's gotten pied on the show. :-)

THE BAD NEWS:

Switcheroo: I don't think Ashley is to blame for that wipeout...I agree with everyone else that the wipeout was led by Drew's ability to be apathetic towards certain games like this one. Thinking about just the car and nothing else really throws a contestant off-track. Oh, and double 1s on the Elantra?!!  :rollold:

DtM: Tough luck for Debra but she did redeemed herself for winning George Gray's SC.

THE GOOD NEWS:

Money Game: Wacky price for that Patriot...But good job by Quinn!

PaP: Excellent win by Natiyah!

Danger Price: That was a pretty easy setup right there. Great win by Tayler!

Range Game: Michael sure did cut it close and it was a pretty cool win!

THE BOTTOM LINE:

A good 4/6-er today...Happy Birthday, George!

You know what it turns out looks a whole lot stranger than you'd think it would?  Having a prize in Danger Price worth $3,000 when the danger price is $2,000.

I wonder why George never showed up during the credits.  I mean, I know he'd been pied (well, caked, I guess), but he didn't seem to be that much of a mess, and it was even his showcase that was won.

I wonder if they were trying to fake out the player there since TVs seem to end in -000 a lot and ellipticals are basically pulled from a random number generator.
