Ladies and gentlemen...presenting George and the Modelcats!

Seriously, that second showcase was awesome. I'm amazed George was able to keep his energy up reading the copy while he was jamming on the drums. Definitely one of the best showcases this season.

Well, that was an almost depressing way to end the week.  I was getting concerned with a skunked show at the end of the first half, but hats off to Martha for saving it.  Also, that pocket change playing had a very exciting ending (I thought that it was over for Robert after the third envelope).  It would have been cool to see how Bob would've handled the final envelope, but I digress.  Daniel's 50 shades shirt was very cool, and I got a good chuckle out of that (for the record, I'll never read that book series).  Finally, I loved the way that the musical showcase was handled, and George killed it on the drums while explaining the details of the prizes at the same time.  That was fantastic, and George is a very cool guy.  To sum up, there was a frustrating beginning, but it had a very strong close to end on a high note.  See you all next week!

A shame IitB was lost just because of having the two cheapest items swapped around.

Boy, it was a good thing that Robert didn't make any more mistakes on Pocket change after he made two on each of the 2nd & 3rd digits.

I was surprised Frank overbid in the Showcase instead of Martha.

Seriously, that second showcase was awesome. I'm amazed George was able to keep his energy up reading the copy while he was jamming on the drums. Definitely one of the best showcases this season.

In my opinion that was the most awkward showcase of the season, and one of my least favorite.

On paper, it seems like a really cool idea. In practice, it was really awkward. George had a hard time catching his breath after like 20-25 seconds in so there were a ton of awkward 2-4 second pauses and then it sounded like he was straining to get every word out.
"Our dilemma is that we hate change and love it at the same time; what we really want is for things to remain the same but get better." - Sydney J. Harris

“For the premiere of season 30, CBS wanted to do a special primetime show. However, they asked that we also add a gimmick or a twist to make it truly special. I came up with the suggestion of taking the show on the road for the first time in its history." - Roger Dobkowitz
