THE BAD NEWS:

SBS: I guess there's a difference between a hot tub that includes 4 Egyptian cotton towels and a hot tub that includes 4 regular cotton towels.

TiM: Well...At least Brent got a WiiU. That's pretty much all I can say.

THE NOT-SO-BAD NEWS:

A#: Well, Christana got some sunglasses. Better than getting hamburger money.

THE GOOD NEWS:

OWP: It was all about distance with that setup...Good win by Gustavo!

SX: Getting free Krispy Kreme and coffee for a year, along with the gas range, was good for Eden...And she won a party boat with her SC!

Card Game: Glad that William stop at $18K to win the Cruze.

THE BOTTOM LINE:

Not-so-good 1st half, but not-so-bad 2nd half. Good way to end the first week of June.

Didn't they know in advance when this episode was going to air?  I was a little surprised there wasn't a Tony Awards showcase, considering that CBS has been airing it for who knows how many years now.
That was posted last year - seems that TPIR is no longer Tonys-friendly.  Then again, LMAD reportedly had a trip to the Tonys last year; maybe they did it again.

I loved that they had the other comtestants on the party boat. They looked like they had a LOT of fun taping that show. Good capper for the week!

LMAD did offer a trip to the Tony's on the show today. Twice, from what I saw.

Not too memorable of a show. Not a bad lineup at all though.

I liked how they didn't have enough time to take the sunglasses off the stage so you could see them when they first revealed the 2nd IUFB.

That was an atrocious playing of Time is Money. Clearly he didn't catch Drew explaining the time being money part.

That might've been the worst playing of Time is Money we've seen all year. Today's contestant was very pokey throughout the entire game and even Drew was clearly noticing how poorly the game was played. Given the rules explanation and the name of the game, I'd have to say being pokey is worse than leaving a podium blank so to me this is the worst playing we've seen.

On the other hand, we saw an excellent playing of Card Game. Today's contestant had a good feel for the price of the Chevy Cruze, seemed aware of his margin, and played his ace very wisely. To see the Chevy Cruze won and to see such an outstanding playing of Card Game was an awesome way to the week.
Adjustments that should be made to pricing games to make them fairer: Secret X: Add a 3rd SP so that perfect pricing ensures a win. 1/2 Off: Add a 4th set of SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Master Key: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Rat Race: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win.

The following pricing games should be retired because there's no way or no easy way to make them fair: Spelling Bee, Plinko, Punch a Bunch, Pass the Buck, Let em Roll, 3 Strikes.

The following retired pricing games should be revived: $uper $aver, Give or Keep, Buy or Sell, Hurdles, Bump, Penny Ante, Credit Card, On the Spot, Split Decision, Add em Up, Walk of Fame, Barker's Markers, Magic Number.

Leaving a podium blank is at the very least a possible way for the products to be set up, and hence a possible solution. Going rather slowly, on the other hand, does not tend to be beneficial.
The above is my opinion and mine alone.

Again, as evil as using 5 items all in a single range could be, it's still a legal solution as long as the prices really do fall into that range.

I would almost imagine though Mike would have it set up so that at least one item has to be on every single podium.

Personally, I wouldn't have a problem with a setup that uses only two of the three podiums. Setups that use only one podium would cross the line. Either way, it's still a test of pricing skill.
