Gas money should prove to you that times have changed. If gas money existed during the barker years it may have been retired like on the spot

Aside from that unfortunate Gas Money wipeout, not a bad show...although I was waiting on a certain someone to get up on stage so that they could do the "Carey meets Carey" joke. What fun that would've been

Gas money should prove to you that times have changed. If gas money existed during the barker years it may have been retired like on the spot

On the Spot wasn't retired due to people wiping out. It was mainly retired due to confusing gameplay and a low win rate. However, Gas Money is a different beast, and wouldn't have been retired due to one bad playing. The only time I can think of a game being retired due to one playing is Make Your Mark, and that was due to Drew messing up the rules.

Anyways, the $24 solar charger in Move was tricky, but luckily, she pulled through. Not a bad show.
"If any show, forget sports, Price is Right, [the audience is] the star of the show. Somebody... coming on down and losing their minds, and ... crying, that's the show. The show isn't me, the show isn't necessarily [a] can of soup, how much that is, it's watching people go bananas, and there's going to be some of that missing."

-Drew Carey, interview with Athletic, September 16, 2020

"I honestly thought the doubler was gone, but 9821 going $0 makes sense"

Quite an unfortunate Gas Money, no doubt foreseeable. By the way, can somebody tell me when was the last time Gas Money was won, or at least a website where I can see stats?

And, Roadgeek Adam, a small correction for your recap: In Pathfinder, Clinton's first choice was the 4, not 8. Thanks.

Live for the present.  Embrace the future.  Our favorite game show is still producing excellent, high quality, exciting, hour-long* shows every weekday throughout its traditional season window.  It’s as good as it’s been in a long, long time.  If the 1980s were the ‘good ole days’ for the Barker era, so is RIGHT NOW for the Carey era.  Don’t worry about what the future holds.  It will play out in due time.  Enjoy what we have right in front of us in the meantime!

How hard is it to win Gas Money when the cheapest price is the Car Price? It has only happened once in its history ( 4/4/16 was the date )
No car in either showcase for the 3rd time this season.

It seems like in Bullseye a lot of contestants go conservative just trying to get on the board if they go over on their first guess.

Pretty easy Make Your Move, the charger was definitely $24 so it was a matter of 817/6645 or 8176/645 for the sunglasses and trip. $817 would be a odd price for the sunglasses and $6,645 a little low for the trip so $8,176 and $645 was the definite choice.

I was a little surprised Do the Math was won after the computer price was revealed. Could've gone either way.
