Parking?

I'll be at the 24 April tapings with a rental car and am wondering about parking.  I see the official site suggests to park at the Grove shopping center, which is great, but the sticky "So you're going to a taping" FAQ mentions parking on CBS grounds.  Does this involve moving your car after 8am or whenever the studios open?  Or is the sticky FAQ incorrect and I'm stuck at the Grove all day?  Is my compact rental going to get jacked? :)

The sticky posting is a bit outdated.  CBS no longer allows audience parking on the lot.

When I made the trip I used the parking garage next to the farmers market. Just a short walk to CBS

The parking at the Grove shopping center is really great and 24hrs. I parked there overnight for only $19.
