  • Always look on the bright side of life.
The preschoolers were very cute. A little clueless at times as to what exactly was going on, but nonetheless, cute. As for the show, It seemed like a lot of the games were set up for easy wins. I was worried about Cliff Hangers after that BAD price on the second item, but they still pulled out a win in the end. Easy as 1-2-3 should have been won, there was no doubt in my mind the dolls were cheapest. And I can't remember the last time I saw such a SOFTBALL setup for Hi-Lo.

I agree, and Ruby Reynolds is a model in the making; her mommy is obviously teaching her well.

This brings to mind when, very early in TPiR's history -- Nov. 6, 1972 episode, if the guide is correct -- Anitra Ford's daughter helped model a showcase. Incidentally enough, it was a showcase of primarily toys (from the FAO Schwartz catalog), with the big prize a half-scale gas-powered car that was a replica of a Ford Lotus. (That episode also had another tween-oriented prize, a set of Childcraft books, ergo World Book Encyclopedia's children's encyclopedia, aka the "How and Why Library.")

I haven't seen a HI LO setup that easy in a long time.
