Well at least Pick a Pair kept the skunk away. And 2,500 in Punch is not too shabby.
Plinko is the worst game the show ever made.

Punch kept the skunk away too. It just wasn't a full win.

In general the setups today were much less easier than what we had the first three shows this week. Pick a Pair was the only definitely winnable game.

Not the easiest Lucky $even setup but I really thought Jeffrey was going to win easily after picking 6 for the second digit. If only he didn't go so high on the 4th digit.

Too bad Madison couldn't repeat what her brother did last summer. I was thinking go-kart or TV for the $3,309 prize.

Sadly, no cars were won at all for this episode; that's a bummer.  :-(

I have to ask--is this the only metric you use to tell a good show from a bad one? Either way I think it's annoying to see this same comment every time it happens.

There can be a lot of fun moments even on a show that's skunked. I've seen plenty of fun contestants over the years that wound up not winning their games. Yes, wins make for a more exciting show, but a good game lineup and good contestants can make for a good show. I'd rather have genuine goodness than some of the fake excitement we seem to get these days.

Yeah, I do tend to easily get upset when contestants lose.

Now if anything, I really do apologize for my poor sportsmanship and I think I need to start taking those losses in stride.

Perhaps I ought to be like that as well-- after all, some players might have played the games as well (or almost as well) as the games could be played, but they still lost due to circumstances out of their control (like on Secret X, for instance-- getting both of the small prizes right, and putting the Xs in positions to possibly get a top-row or diagonal win, only for the Secret X to be at the bottom).

It would be different, of course, if the player didn't play to how Drew/Bob said to play the game (like, for instance, Drew saying that the 45 sec. in Race Game goes tick-tock, and for the player not to dawdle and constantly seek audience assistance, only to have the player play completely opposite to what Drew said, and inevitably winning absolutely none of the prizes).

  • One of the great multitaskers on G-R.net!
I was thinking plus for Do the Math, and also lost. But at least Pick-a-Pair saved the show.
