Okay officers, I get the military coming, but machine guns and tanks? The plan was for contestants not appearing on stage to get a coronavirus test. Can I just have the four get tested, and I promise that the rest of the contestants won't come down to Contestants' Row?

*general agreement from the officers*

Thank you very much officers. Actually, I only have three tests, since only three contestants are going to not come on stage. So yeah, take tpir04 away  ;-)

Anyways, 04 puts up 7 Grover Clevelands.

*ding!*

Prizes, your turn. (11:17 PDT/ 14:17 EDT)

Glad to be here TPIRfan. I do have a question about my nametag though, unless...

*pulls out calculator*

...

Yeah, I still have a question.  :-)

Either way, let's go with $3,123 please

It's not like your signature 1233 you like to use in your HYOs is any better considering it's a mere 1,860,867 :P

From looking it up, however, I'm seeing that replacing 47 with 41 actually gives the correct value, so I'm not sure if TPIRFan#9821 wants to correct your name tag to show 41 instead of 47, or if he just wants to start calling you 141141141 instead :oldlol:

That's $1,234 for Prizes *ding!*

...did I really mess up the factorization? That's just peachy. I had a joke ready about being in your prime, but frankly, that just proved that I'm just odd :P Also, thanks for the idea tpiradam!
*takes out Sharpie and scribbles it down a whole bunch of binary digits*

...and I'll throw up your bid of $3,123 *ding!*

And a simple $11 from tpiradam *ding!*

I love how we have a huge range of bids on this item, from $11 to $7,000. Well, actual retail price is...

$1,390!

Prizes, come on up!

Welcome to the show! You won the watch, which counts in an unusual way, isn't that right Announcer?

It sure does. But what doesn't count in a weird way is the odometer... in your brand new car!

It's the 2019 Infiniti QX30 Luxe AWD. Comes equipped with a 2.0L Turbo 4-cylinder engine, Intelligent Key with Push Button Start, and INFINITI Intelligent All-Wheel Drive! Also included are 18-inch painted alloy wheels, Infiniti Wi-Fi, Infiniti Radiant Illuminated Kick Plates, a Rear Bumper Protector made from Stainless Steel, the best in QI charging with a wireless charger, all-season fllor mats, trunk lower finisher, cargo organizer and reversible protector, both a black pearl and chrome license plate frame, and first aid kit! It's a prize worth: $39,821!

Oh boy, that's a nice car. We're going to be playing a game called Binary Search. We've got five small prizes, and if you can correctly price all five of them, you'll walk out of here with that beautiful car. Announcer, can you help us by describing these items?

Of course I can!

This electronic digital picture frame from Google comes equipped with a 7" touchscreen display and a digital voice assistant!

This cable from Apple coverts a Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2!

Have a dazzling appearance with these 14-karat gold lightning bolt earrings!

Next, thunder and trumpet through the skies with this rocket model kit!

And finally, it's Farkle, the classic dice-rolling risk taking game! It's fun for the whole family! Get in with the fun! And as a bonus, everyone in the audience will be receiving a game of Farkle to play for themselves! In fact, if you want to play against the computer, here you go! You might not want to access it from Chrome since they are killing Flash Player, but whatever!

Thank you Announcer. Prizes, we're going to go down the line with those items.

The endpoints are on the sides of the display. Do you think that the hub is $65, $193, or do you want to do the binary search and go down the middle, with $129? (21:41 PDT/00:41 EDT)

Split the difference with $129.

I like this game so far, very inventive premise. A cool car helps too!

$129 says Prizes. Is that correct?

*ding!*

It is indeed! Let's take a look at the adapter next.

For the cable, the ARP is either $49, $113, or down the middle with $81. Notice the range between the endpoints has gotten smaller; the game only gets harder from here on out. You can give me a guess for the adapter, or you can just forget about the car right now, and I'll give you a fat $1,500. Your call. (01:24 PDT/04:24 EDT)

Not 100% sure, but I feel like the cable might be $49, just a hunch.

Also, tpiradam managed to botch the math WAAAAAAAY harder than 9821 did: when converted to decimal,
001100010011001000110011001100010011001000110011001100010011001000110011
gives 907507748629153657395, though I'm sure Numbers wouldn't mind being called 907507748629153657395 instead since it's WAAAAY bigger than 123123123 :P

For reference, 123123123 in binary actually happens to be merely 111010101101011010110110011

At this point, I'm fine with anything on my nametag. Just happy to be here.

Also, from the crowd, I would go with $49 as well.

Is $49 right?

*ding-ding!*

Of course! Now, onto the earrings.

Do you think the earrings are $155, $187, or $171? Or, would you rather just sit down with $3,000 and a great non-winning score going into the Gift Exchange?

(Yeah, sorry about the delay. Work caught up to me for yesterday. We should be good now)

Alright, let's see $187.

*buzz!* *losing horns*

And, that's all she wrote. Sorry you couldn't win that car, but you'll be back for our Gift Exchange. You still get the watch, and you technically get a dongle and Google Nest Hub. But Announcer, I think it's time for another contestant.

You're right. How about gamesurf, please stand. And DON'T COME ON DOWN, but you're the next contestant on The Price is Right.

Just stay at your seat, gamesurf, just for safety. Let's see if you enjoy this prize, Announcer.

It's 30 months of 30 months of Watson Studio Cloud Standard!

Enjoy 30 months with the child of all your favorite AI takeover stories, IBM. Watson Studio Cloud is willing to steal more data to “optimize your business outcomes” and ultimately learn enough to bring humanity to extinction. Comes with 50 capacity unit hours a month, and full access to Watson Studio tools, except for the off button.

...you really are against a future with technology, aren't you?

Not a future where Skynet takes over and ruins my life!

OK then. gamesurf, we'll start with you, and end with 04.

(Also, 123123123, your name should be fixed now. I cranked it to 11, base 11 specifically :))
