Gavin MacLeod, who played Murray Slaughter on Mary Tyler Moore and Captain Merrill Stubing on The Love Boat, passed away this morning at age 90, cause unknown.

BJ Thomas, whose career spanned country, pop, and gospel that earned him CMA, Dove, and Grammy awards, and an Oscar. Passed away today from complications from lung cancer at his home in Arlington, Texas at the age of 78.

Ned Beatty, who was Oscar-nominated for his supporting role in the film Network including roles in Deliverance, Nashville, and All the President’s Men, among others passed away this morning of natural causes at age 83.

Actor Frank Bonner, who was best known for playing the plaid-suited antagonistic sales manager Herb Tarlek on the CBS comedy WKRP in Cincinnati, died yesterday from complications from Lewy body dementia at the age of 79.
