I chose Box #2 in 1/2 Off, for the same reason Drew mentioned: Couples. And I didn't know what "Hearts of Palm" were at the time, but harvesting the hearts of plants (for example: artichokes) sounded expensive, so I would have picked it in Hi-Lo. :)   But that expensive?

Very nice win in Lucky $even, but definitely not the most challenging price I've seen.

And $26,000 won in the first Showcase Showdown! :-)

Big Money Week next week! (10 Chances and/or Stack The Deck for a $51K - $98K auto?  *fingers crossed* :)  - Maybe next Dream Car week?)

Trying to force a win in Half Off is 100% foolish, as shown.

Maybe don't use the obscure vegetable I never heard of, and certainly the contestants never did, if you want H-L won?
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Easy win in Lucky Seven with all but the 2nd number 1 away or exactly 5, and they won $25,000 on the Wheel to add! Push Over was a tough choice between $5,816 and $4,935, though $4,935 was a bit too low.

Ouch on 1/2 Off. Seems obvious in hindsight they would put the money in box 2 because it's a couples show.

I thought they might've been right with the granola in Hi Lo, it seemed more expensive than it actually was. I thought heart of palm would end up being the way to go, it being more than the antacid was a big surprise.

Anyone else notice that the price card for the cat food was a significantly darker shade of blue than all of the other cards. I couldn’t be the only one to notice. Any idea why that would be? Do they make fresh price cards for every playing of Hi Lo or are the cards recycled?
