So... one contestant goes his own way and loses (Most Expensive) and another follows the advice of others and loses (It's In The Bag). Hmmm...

Bad luck in both One Away (so close!) and Master Key.

Chances for redemption in the Showcase! Double overbid.

Wow. One of those days I suppose.

I did enjoy Drew's interaction with the contestant, Rachel, George, and Manuela in Most Expensive. Not Barkeresque, but Drew "is his own man".  :)

In that first showcase, George mentioned pretty much everything except "Star Wars" (or any of the characters or locations). I just wonder if anybody trademarked the phrase, "May the Fourth Be With You" (which apparently has gone mainstream; in fact, there are Star Wars Droids stamps being released today at the post office near Skywalker Ranch north of San Francisco.)

I think Temujin’s difference of -$18,690 makes his overbid the worst of the season.

The phrase is own by Lucasfilm / Disney (also the variation "May the 4th be with you" is own by them as well)

Tough luck losses in the first half, especially One Away with four right on the first try. I wasn't overly surprised the washer and dryer ended up being the right pick in Most Expensive, though it did seem a bit small to be that pricey.

I knew that soy sauce bottle was too big to be just $2.99, though I had the markers in that bag and the soy sauce for $4.49.

I liked the Star Wars galaxy far away Showcase. If only he trimmed his bid by $20,000.

Temujin (TJ) is one of the cohosts on Rich Eisen’s radio show so they watched the episode on the air and commented on it as it was happening.

Otherwise sad episode.

Interesting showcase ARPs - $23,610 and $26,310.  Don't remember that happening too often, if ever.

I didn't pay enough attention to the size of the bag of walnuts and thought it was the $6.99 item. One Away was truly heartbreaking. Some of the bids were truly mind breaking. Everything else seemed winnable, though I forgot the barbecue island was 7K and not 5K.

I might have gone 23 for Temujin's showcase but I don't really know the price of a Harley. I think I overpriced the home office in the other showcase (thought 8K, with the computer being another 1.5K) and would have gone over with 25.8K.

I had some good CSS bids, but if I had flipped the bids, I would've gotten some cash and a DSW because I would've been off on 2 by $60. Oh well. Live and learn.
