4 cars in one roll in Let 'Em Roll! Sounds like good luck, but the contestant only had one roll and ended up winning the smallest amount possible. Overall, really bad luck. However... he did win a car in the Showcase. Redemption! :-)  (Though he did seem more excited about the basketball game, even as the show went off the air.)

Very nice Pocket Change win.

OUCH - there's only about a 1/19 chance of getting $500 on one roll. The "expected value" of a single roll is $2500 + 1/32 of the value of the car (so if it's a $16,000 car, the expected value is $3000).

Question for the Boffins: when, if ever, was the last time the third item in Cliff Hangers was priced lower than the second item? (And yes, I am aware that it didn't happen in this episode; it's just that the contestant made a comment that made it sound like she priced it high under the assumption that it wouldn't be too low of a price.)

I'm not sure what chance you are actually computing here.
Once the contestant decided to go for the car with 4 cars already banked, there was a 1/6 chance of winning the minimum of $500....unlucky, but nothing too unusual really.

If you have only one roll, as this contestant did, there is about a 1/19 chance (exactly 5/96) of rolling four cars and a $500.

Also, reminder that the Catskill Mountain trip is still false advertising that I wish they would stop. Rhinebeck is in the Berkshires sub-range of the Taconics.

Man, Let 'em Roll was mean today.  The lids were definitely supposed to be missed, and the chocolate chips were at best a toss-up for someone paying attention.  Jose ended up with the worst possible outcome you can have in that game.  I'm really glad he ended up winning the Showcase after getting stuck with that setup.

Is it me, or are they playing a lot of Make Your Move all of a sudden?

1 Right Price was only worth $4,989.  Weird.

Not an easy GP setup in Let em Roll in the least. He almost made it an improbable win but ended up winning the minimum. He did get redemption on the wheel in the Showcases though.

Make Your Move should've been won, $25 was the only price that made sense for the mug which made $6,042 the only price that really fit for the home office.

The bad luck in Roll completely reversed in Pocket Change, besides the 0 cent card pick.

So many frustratingly close bids today, but I'll take it over the people who don't understand how bidding works any day.

Nasty setup for Let Em Roll. Usually plastic is cheap where I am. Chocolate chips though, at 6-7 makes sense

The only multiples of 4 for Make Your Move were 604 and 596. Picking 596 produces reasonable prices for the other two, but I could see someone picking 9065 for the home office setup. I got it right but maybe it was meaner than I thought.

Good win on balance game. 6K definitely what I'd expect for an Eastern US vacation.

Man after that kinda nasty setup for Let Em Roll it is incredible to see Pocket Change for a 21K car. Surprised she guessed 5 for the 4th digit, though (figured that was the fifth, whoops). Nice to see a win.

One Right Price though. Oof. We've seen that sauna very recently, haven't we? But then they can set out a bunch of shoes or handbags any time they want just about any price I swear.

Standard game of Cliffhangers to the point where the 25-35-45 rule would have won with most of the mountain left untouched.

For Jose's showcase I guessed 25000 too. Figured the bikes are 1K, the game room is probably 6K together, and the return of the Forte is about 18K. Would not be surprised to find the bikes are more expensive

Ooni is back, and that's not even 1K is it? My guess was Catskill trip is probably 6-8K and that boat is probably 23K. So for the other one I figured 29.8K for some wiggle room because I don't know as much about boat prices. I suspect I underpriced both the boat and the trip.

Also, reminder that the Catskill Mountain trip is still false advertising that I wish they would stop. Rhinebeck is in the Berkshires sub-range of the Taconics.

Not only that, but it seems that George has varied between having people fly into ALL-bany and AL-bany in the several times they've used that (both for these "Catskills" trips and at least one or two for places in MA/VT).  It's understandable if someone is unsure of the pronunciation but seems odd that he switches.
