Not one but two close calls in Pay The Rent. As usual, I figured the contestant would not win the $100K when he put the lowest priced item in the mailbox.

Indeed I was thinking the Tacoma in Card Game was priced at around $25K. Watching the show regularly does help. :-)

I was getting a little worried in Any Number, after such a great start. Nice win there; I’m glad the contestant didn’t say “7” as his final pick.

Pay the Rent had 3 solutions, none of which had the candy on the bottom floor:

Dough (3.29) < Candy + Beans (1.29 + 8.99 = 10.28) < Hummus + Bowls (4.99 + 6.49 = 11.48) < Detergent (11.99)
Hummus (4.99) < Dough + Bowls (3.29 + 6.49 = 9.78) < Candy + Beans (1.29 + 8.99 = 10.28) < Detergent (11.99)
Bowls (6.49) < Dough + Hummus (3.29 + 4.99 = 8.28) < Candy + Beans (1.29 + 8.99 = 10.28) < Detergent (11.99)

For what it's worth, I'd have won Pay the Rent.  Bowls, dip and pizza, Heath and coffee, Tide.  It wasn't that hard of a setup, especially given that the last show had Triple Play on it.

I almost feel bad saying this, but I feel like Card Game needs to be played for less expensive cars.  No one is coming anywhere close to winning it lately.

Double Cross, on the other hand, was ridiculously easy.  Only one wrong answer even remotely made sense, and it didn't make the prize package expensive enough to be right.

They obviously want all those losses and don't care how ugly it looks. Probably 3-4 more playings of the same before the season ends.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...
