I have to wonder, was Double Prices a substitute for another game they were going to play first? Cause I saw them about to go up to the turntable...

I was wondering the same thing, after all, it is a great substitute for games with technical difficulties.

Well, I asked Roger this question about the jump cut situation (Bob and the contestant about to go to the turntable only to the big doors afterward) several weeks ago, here's what he told me:

"There were a handful of times (and I really mean just a few times) that Bob headed towards the wrong game area. This was corrected by one of two means...Bob would correct himself in mid walk and change direction (usually not scene on camera)...the second way was to stop tape, especially if Bob went the whole way to the wrong playing area...we would not redo the player winning and her reaction, but we would retake Bob going the correct way and arriving at the correct game area."

So this was really a rare occurrence on the show, but it was odd to see that happen on this episode.
